Josh's wife Anna must have been terrified on the wedding night. I'm sure her parents didn't talk to her about sex.

Maybe Michelle did, she is bound to know a thing or 17 about it.

Just finished reading their book (in one night!) and really enjoyed it. There were parts I rolled my eyes at, but I definitely saw a very close and loving family.

OH and in the book I also liked that Jim Bob said the times he made bad decisions he didn't consult with God and Michelle.

So basically he's blaming his bad choices on not consulting with them?

I haven't read the book, but I took it to mean he's blaming himself. Perhaps he feels he was in error those times he made a decision w/out talking it over w/ God and Michelle, and believes he may have made better choices in those instances had he consulted w/ them. I guess it's all in how you look at it.

That is what he said. He was full of pride and himself and got burned.

well, at least he doesn't make all the decisions and expect michelle to stand behind him blindly. a marriage should be a PARTNERSHIP.
