I don't know how I managed to post this on the wrong thread the other day, but I did. You may have already read it. LOL
I was just thinking about the pure numbers involved with an immediate family that large. If each of the kids gets married and has just 12 children, that still totals almost 250 people (including spouses). Obviously, you can't have an intimate family gathering in most homes. I'm doubtful they could even fit that many into the Duggars present home. It's great to have so many family members, but can you really be close to that many people? Just sending birthday cards could be a full-time job. LOL Then what happens when their kids have kids? Oh my, it's much worse than the Osmond family! LOL
How long before you don't really know people in your family? I can't see Michelle having much of any relationship with her grandchildren anyway. Can you really get to know all 200 grandkids?
