Wait. The Duggars have cell phones? I wouldn't have guessed that.
Wait. The Duggars have cell phones? I wouldn't have guessed that.
I seem to remember that one of the ways they got money was by letting a cell phone tower be bulit on their property. I always thought that was a little strange for them to do. But I could be remembering it wrong.
When the Power of Love overcomes the Love of Power, the World will know Peace
I don't watch this show, but I dropped in because I heard that her baby was born prematurely and I was curious. It drives me crazy that people will just not use birth control and say that if they get pregnant it is "God's will". There is just no personal responsibility in that thought process. It is a fact: if you are fertile and have unprotected sex at the right time of the month, you will get pregnant.Originally Posted by raison47;3812224;
If further pregnancies would risk her health, then it is just reckless for them to continue down that path. Would it really be worth having her youngest children grow up without a mother?? And that is aside from the fact that it strikes me as really egotistical for one couple to decide the world needs to have so much more of their genetic material... Oh, that's right - they would say that God wants the world to include so much more of their offspring.
Sorry for sounding so cynical, JMO.
...and with all that said, I would like to add that I truly wish only the best for little Josie. Now that she is here, I hope she is able to grow into a perfectly healthy little girl!

They dress in designer clothes and wear make-up and hair products!
But remember, most if not all of those designer clothes were brought second hand. Remember Jim Bob's motto: "buy used and save the difference." Good advice, actually. (Much to my dismay since I own a dress shop!)Originally Posted by maude~flanders;3818476;

I used to be an assistant manager at Aldi back when there were no scanners and the employees had to memorize every item in the store and had weekly testsOriginally Posted by libgirl2;3819211;
About Josh, I think that he would be more about the media moments than his brothers/sisters because he is the one who is married, he is the one who is living on his own and the car dealership? There was an episode-I believe the one highlighting Anna giving birth-that talked about how they have to sell a certain number of cars a month in order to keep the dealership open, and that sales hae been a bit skimpy. I would be more unsurprised than surprised that he and Anna do get a cut of money from the show.
