    America's Toughest Jobs

    Wow. No thread for this?

I actually love what I've heard of the concept.

Then again, reality shows don't always live up to their concepts. Lets see if this one does.

    Tony La Russa!

Oh. Not THAT Tony La Russa.

The "waiver" they have to sign for this show must be a legal work of art.

    Dunno.

The uneven number of people, while they still have a "2 from each boat" rule, is pretty revealing. Someone had to have dropped out last second.

An Asian guy named Rommel? You don't see that everyday.

Coming up: Lots o' cool jobs. Including... Monster Trucks? Monster Trucks! Coooooooooool.

This show almost seems like a rip off of Dirtiest Jobs, but made into a reality competition rather than just showing the labor. It's pretty interesting so far I guess lol

I only got to watch 10 mins of it (glad I have a DVR!), but it seems like a good show so far. It was so cool watching them walk to their boats (one being the Fierce Allegiance) and seeing the Maverick. That was cool.

And since Thom Beers is the Executive Producer, it should be a really good/great show. I'm going to keep watching it.

I was quite entertained by the first episode, though I don't think the right person went home. I liked how the players were doing the actual work and not some watered down version. I also liked that the contestants seemed a diverse mix of ages and backgrounds-- not all beautiful LA people. My big complaint would be the awful narrator.

I really enjoyed the first episode, but from the previews it looks like there will be drama between the contestants. I really hope they keep that to a minimum and focus on the jobs, because that's a hell of a lot more interesting to me.
