I liked that the season finale ended with people co-operating and we still had the nasty one who got fired.Originally Posted by rebotco;3795362;

Mods, I couldn't find a prior thread for this, so I started a new one.
I'm glad this show is back.
She seemed to tone it back a bit for the premiere. But, the upcoming previews show a lot of Tabitha drama.![]()
I loved seeing the realtionship between the sisters. It was great from a cultural standpoint and, oh so true.
I was glad to see that the stylist with 6 years who really didn't know her craft but did acknowledge it, was kept on so that she could get more training. She had such a great attitude. A good attitude, IMO, goes a lot further than one who has great haircutting prowess, but is a prima donna!

To Thine Own Self Be True
they ended up firing her tho . . . .
i enjoyed the episode, but i didn't think it was a good one for the premier.
Oh, I thought they fired the other hair stylist?
To Thine Own Self Be True
I like this show too however, I missed the last 15 minutes of it.
I thought it was ok. But I can't put my finger on it, something was missing....

Dean Martin: No but you can pour it..
Tabitha wasn't nearly as snarky or mean as she usually is!!???
To Thine Own Self Be True
Maybe she's just getting "warmed up" since this IS the first episode of the season.Originally Posted by norealityhere;4122039;
I think much of Tabitha's "snark" depends on how obnoxious the salon owners/staff behave.
I still think the best Salon Takeover episode was "Browne & Co."...the salon was in Miami Beach and owned by a low class bitch of a woman. She had no respect for her staff, for Tabitha....no respect for anyone. I wonder if that salon is doing well or if it still sucks![]()
Yes, that was Melissa who had had her license for six years and ended up being let go. At one point, they showed another stylist asking her, "How long have you had your license?", looking shocked at six years!
Brownes & Co is still in business. They have two locations and, it appears that Nikki is still manager.Welcome to Brownes & Co. - Brownes Apothecary - Brownes Beauty Lounge - Some Like It Hot
They have a facebook page, too.

The wife in the 2nd episode ... she loved to mention her credentials every 2 seconds, but could not get it through her head that SHE was the problem and the reason the business was tanking. Some people are not meant to deal with the public, and she is definitely one of them.
Sadly, I think if she had either contented herself with staying home with the kids, or finding another job to focus on and let her husband be "the" owner/ boss of that salon, it would be thriving. Makes you wonder how seemingly intelligent people can be so "thick".
