Re: The Real Housewives of Atlanta

The show was good last night. Kim vs The Beauty School was funny...I knew she wasn't going to stay the course. Sheree and the Party Planner. I don't blame Sheree for going off on him. I would have done a Jill Zarin (New York Housewives) on his butt, punched him out and then do a stop payment on the check. Loved NeNe's new hair style. She has a great singing voice. Not sure if I'm liking the new girl Kandie. Although I do remember the singing group Xcape, but she is not a solo singer (voice too whinny for me). Her little girl Riley was precious. I though Lisa was over acting a bit last night.

Re: The Real Housewives of Atlanta

I only saw small parts of the show last night.

The argument between Sheree and the PP was way over the top. It seemed very contrived. Who acts like that?

It seems to me that their parties consist mostly of "red carpet" photo ops. Nicey Nash's birthday party had little to do with her and mostly the housewives..

So far I like the new HW. I wish they had mentioned what happened to Deshawn and why she's not on the show anymore.

well, they couldn't come right out and say they replaces DeShawn because she is way too sane for this.

My favorite Atlanta Housewife is Dwight!!!

That's exactly what Sheree said!

I know that that clown is not the only party planner in town. I'd fire him with a quickness and the be sure to let everyone know why I did.

Re: The Real Housewives of Atlanta

This was my first experience with the Atlanta franchise. I didn't get as drawn in as I did with the others, but there may be enough there to whet my appetite for more. I do think, however, these women are pretty big on drama with a capital D. I'd love to see Danielle and these ladies in a room together.

One of the things that I liked was how, when they got along, they didn't worry about who's black and who's white. Kim said that NeNe's her kids' queen. It was oddly heartwarming in bits.

And a hot tranny mess in others.

Instead, you get the attention seekers, people on the fringe and people wanting to break into the biz.

It sure doesn't stop them from watching it though!
What's a Jack and Jill child?

These women do not represent the African-American community any more than Teresa Tableflipper or Lori Walletsniffer represent the white community. They're not a bit like any African-American lady I know.

And anyway, it's not like Kim behaves any better.

Her money comes from being a mistress which can't be compared to being married to a sports pro (which is a legit way to make a living) and having and raising his children.

As long as I'm not within the fallout range I would too. They say you should be 100 miles from a nuclear detonation.

That'd be about right.
