Laurie using yellow? Now there's a surprise...

Seriously, though, I thought this one turned out OK.

I agree. That did not turn out too bad. I would be able to live with that.

I didn't think it was too bad, wouldn't be my choice but nice enough.
Knowing Laurie she could have gone to Ikea and bought them a new sofa for the same money she spent on the fabric to cover the futon and make the throw cushions.
I don't tihnk she spends wisely when it comes to her beloved fabric.

I missed this show, but think the room looks pretty decent...unlike those CIRCLES in Hilde's room...OMG!!!

Thanks for posting these links each week. I come often to see the rooms but don't always post.

    Appreciated!

I usually *hate* Laurie's rooms -- wasn't she the one that did the gawdawful silk-flower bathroom? -- but this one was okay. If I were on the show (that is, if I were ever able to own instead of rent....), I'd cry if the one to design my room were Laurie, Hilde, or Frank. I'd want Vern to do my space.

Ellen, the one to do the silk flower bathroom was none other than Hilde...it was definitely one of her more "Hilde-ous" creations...

Thanks, Logan. I get those two confused all the time.
