I don't think Anderson will be hosting though, he's got bigger fish to fry. Can't wait for the new one though.

I'm pretty sure its "real" people and not celebrities. I think I saw a casting ad a while back looking for contestants. I've only seen the celebrity version--missed the other seasons. I loved Celebrity Mole, so if y'all like "real" people better I can't wait!!!!

yeah, i heard it was real people and i also did hear that anderson is not hosting it.

i heard the host was Jon Kelley and it starts June 2nd! SO excited!

No Mole thread yet, so I'll start it.

Has anyone seen the "The Mole Was Here" thumbprints popping occasionally on ABC between the last commercials and the show? We saw one last night during Brothers and Sisters. Can't wait.

Anyone know if it's a REAL show, or the subpar Celebrity edition? And anyone know if it's the greatness of Anderson Cooper, or someone else?

It IS NOT a celebrity edition. And that is a wonderful thing. CNN would not release Anderson Cooper.

The mole was one of my favorite reality shows ever. Happy to see it back I've never gotten to guess the mole ever though as far as I remember lol

OMG, I can't believe I forgot Kathy Griffin. She is one of my favorite "D list" celebs. Now I want to rewatch it!

The mole was one of my favorite reality shows ever. Happy to see it back I've never gotten to guess the mole ever though as far as I remember lol

I don't know if you remember the introduction to each episode where the names of each contestant would sort of scroll up one letter at a time & eventually spell out their names (that's a truly bad description), but anyways. Someone slowed it down during the second season & those letters scrolled up one at a time & said Billl is the mole. There are clues all over the place, finding them & deciphering them is the hard, yet fun part.

The entire show is like a constant weekly Easter Egg hunt, where the ones you missed were obvious in hindsight. The nice thing is ... even if there was NO mole, the gameplay is enjoyable - adding the contestants' hunt for the mole makes it 10 times as fun.

And for the record, the celebrity edition was FAR less entertaining than the real one - partly due to the game, partly to the horrid host. Hope the new guy is good.
