Funny - I was thinking the same thing about Lil B (how a grown man can let himself be called Lil anything is beyond me) and Landon. I was wondering about the name thing. Did they make these kids pick stage names that obviously reflect their famous parents? yeah, that crosby really is hot, isn't he? i'm still really pissed that they sent jesse money home. she was great. i still can't figure out what lil b sure and landon brown are doing there. i mean, come on, that brown kid got a 14. a 14! i'm really surprised to find myself really liking snider's kid. i really don't think that his attitude is bad - i think he's just really confident, and that's just the way that it comes across to some. i don't know. i'm also really liking lucy, and i keep voting for chloe, because...well, it's like a car crash. pop porn!
I love Lucy, she was on the local radio station here the day the show started.. her Dad is from Cleveland so it was a big deal for her to be on the station I guess. She had a wonderful attitude and was very open and honest about the show and her reasons for doing it as well as her relationship with her father. I fell in love with her instantly! I really want to see her do well, and not just because of her Cleveland connection.
I hate to also admit I liked Chloe's verson of her mom's song. It would have been better sung by someone with a bigger voice.. but it was interesting.
Dont feel bad about liking Jesse.. i do tooHe is way to fun to watch.. just like Crosby is great to look at (and sigh he is goooood to look at), Jesse is just good old fun!
I think Jesse is good ... for what he is. Not sure he warrants the "BEST" title that the judges have given him twice ... and I actually admired his desire to be judged and not have immunity - I don't think he was just playing there.
That said - Lucy was the best the first week, and has gotten worse since. I really like her, and hope she gets better and stays on.
Lil B and Blandon are horrid. Chloe is a trainwreck, and I can't even understand what she's singing half the time. One would think she was Debbie Harry's or the Missing Persons' lead singer's daughter as opposed to ONJ and cleancut Matt Lattanzi. Crosby is, as Randy would say, A'Ight. The Doobie girl is probably the best other than Lucy/Jesse.
Lil and Landon had problems staying on key.
I think Snyder and Lara may go home next week: Snyder because we just don't like you, and Lara because someone has to go. Lara really has a competitive, good voice. But I don't envision what adult Lara will be singing. I don't see her style yet.
Chloe.....my my.......I was laughing when she was singing.......envisioning her bringing a bird to bite its head off. Girl, you know we might pay big money to see you sing your mom's song "Have you never been mellow? Have you never tried to comfort from insiiiide you? Have you never been happy?..........
