Kate's tattoo is definitely Winnie the Pooh. There was a close up on one of the episodes where she got her toes done.

I think that they would treat a gay child no different than the rest of their children. I mean I know they are religous people but I don't think they would turn on one of their own.

I think that kind of speculation's better served on other kind of issues. They're still kids and who knows what'll happen between now and when they grow up. I don't like speculating on that kind of stuff. I'd rather let kids be kids. They lose their innocence early enough now-a-days.

No reason really, just wondering how Kate would react. I agree with the previous post that she would love her children under any condition, as would most parents.
But the reaction is what I would love to witness.... oh my.....oh my lordy be....oh my!!!!

I gave kate her props people may say her kids are unruly at times. Those kids are good considering how many she has. I was in the grocery store tonight and this woman had one child and she had zero control over her. I think Jon & Kate will love their children regardless of what they choose to do or be in the future.

I am glad that someone pointed this out and that you took it in the manner that it seemed intended.

I also noticed that it was explained that "oriental" is an adjetive (such as an oriental rug) and in reference to a person we would use ASIAN as the noun.

This kind of thing is my pet peeve. I live in Indiana and it DRIVES me BONKERS that people constantly say "mexican" about anyone with brown skin that isn't obviously Asian or Black. I have a Pakastani friend that people CONSTANTLY refer to as "Mexican". She doesn't even speak one word or Spanish! I also would say "Hispanic" if I was not sure of the country of origin. What if the person was from Honduras or Equador or, heck!, Texas of Cali??

Again, pet peeve! Off my soap box now!

What would make you think that any of them would be gay?

I love watching this show, this is a great family. I am so impressed by Kate and the way she handles raising so many kids. I have two and I can barely get by some days. I pride myself in eating organic but I'm not 80% organic as they are.

Last night watching the show about purchasing a cow half raised a question in my mind though. She indicated that yes, it was expensive, but they make up for it by cutting back in other areas. My question is, where? I have not noticed that they scrimp by on anything. The elaborate parties, the organic food, the matching outfits, private schools, a large single family home with a huge yard by the standards where I live--- and the professional photographer on location? And her husband is home at 5 on the dot!

Anyway, as I said I love watching this family, they are precious and Kate does such a good job but I would Looooooove some of their financial tips!

    From TLC J&K+8 episode description:

    Jon's Hair Transplant

Jon used to have a full head of hair, and Kate wishes that he still did! So when an LA hair transplant specialist contacted Jon with an offer to perform this procedure, Jon and Kate jumped at the chance. We travel to LA with them to see the surgery.
Un.be.liev.able. This show is no longer about who they are as a family, it's all about the comps. They now have time to make cross-country trips to take advantage of a freebie. And I'm assuming TLC/Figure 8 Productions is paying their not inexpensive airfare/accomodations/food/incidentals to allow them to take advantage of this freebie. They can find time to make this trip, but they can only do once a year one-on-one activities with their kids?
