| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City After watching one of the episodes again, I'm pretty sure that Ramona and her husband are separated. I'm pretty comfortable in saying that he doesn't live with she and Avery. There's a way you get along when you're living together, and an identifiable way you get along/talk to each other when you're not and trying to "work together" for the sake of your child. I am glad to see Ramona encourage her daughter to have her own money. Too many women don't see the importance in that until well after they have reason to realize it.

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I think Ramona and Mario live together, but I think they are married in name only... as someone else (several people?) mentioned... for the sake of Avery. I also have noticed that Mario's eyes light up when Avery is around, but he and Ramona are pretty much roommates. With the realism surrounding marriage today, it is unrealistic to assume all of them are happily married. Jill and Bobby probably are o.k. I don't think Jill would stay for no reason. The countess seems to not have a marriage.. in name only and the count is never around anyway. Plus she's #4.. you don't get to #4 and suddenly figure out how to be a good husband. Ramona and Mario... clearly no intimacy, marriage togetherness... Alex and Simon.. well, at least they are both dedicated to making it appear that they love each other: whether they do or not. Getting back to Jill and Bobby: he seems to treat her well and she seems to respect him. So if you want to speculate whether it is love or a comfortable arrangement they both like.... mutual respect is probably as good as love these days. As Ramona said: not every marriage is a good one. Perhaps that was a Freudian slip. Oh, and I can totally see that the REAL society people at the Met didn't want realitv tv cameras around while they ate dinner. Plus, A and S's table was probably at the very back so all we would have seen would have been the backs of society's heads. And Simon's webpage says he's in the "HOSPITALITY" industry, not the "service" industry. Whatever that difference is..... Noel: I hope he doesn't grow up to be an a*shole! Little count in training... |

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Funny thing about the Met dinner is that people who are comfortable around cameras and are often in front of one, are the people who attend. Walter Cronkite and his wife always go; Barbara Walters, Bianca Jagger, Katie Couric . . . they were all there. Even people who some wouldn't recognize, like Lynn Wyatt and Georgette Mossbacher, (real socialites) get their photos taken. I wonder if the paps were told NOT to take Simon and Alex's photos. Usually, people who are followed by a contingency of cameras, lighting and sound people, and who knows who else, get attention. The press figures they must be someone so snap a photo. An editor will later ask, "Who is this?" '

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I thought A and S were late and missed the dinner. Wasn't that where they said to each other, "This "limo" hasn't moved an inch. We can walk faster then this "limo" is moving. Let's get out of the "limo" and walk the rest of the way". And then as they power walked down the street they mentioned how they were walking because the "limo" was stuck in traffic. ![]() |

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Alex said later that they talked to people "at the dinner". I actually felt sorry for them, chugging down their champagne. This whole event was like a "prom night" for them, and then it all fell apart.
