Forgive me for quoting myself, but I'm hoping maybe somebody will answer. I don't understand them trying to enter into "society". Don't you have to be a society person to begin with? So they're spending $10,000 on opera tickets to be able to be hang out with people they really can't afford to hang out with? People that they really have nothing in common with? Do they think they will be fooling these people? They must feel very foolish right now. I saw the nude pics ![]()

As far as Lexie's nudie, I'll make your day a little worse. When I study a photo I also wonder about the photographer. I flashed on Simone leering over his Hasselblad (or Leica -- has to be pricey and European) attired in his leopard thong and a cloud of cologne. Yikes! I have to go hit the Advil bottle and lay down. I wish I had some of that v-a-i -l ... v-a-l-u-m ... how do you spell it?

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Alex mentions the photos on her Bravo blog and names one photographer (who wasn't Simon). I've been ill all day so I haven't bothered googling her photos, though. ![]()

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City While Alex and Simon are complete social climber wanna bes, they don't bother me nearly as much as Ramona. WTH is the matter with her??? Is she deluded enough to think that she is above her friends and can just run out on them?? Rosanna showed more class than any of them!

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Nicole Kidman!!! In an alternate universe.I find these social climbers so boring, if I had great wealth I'd get as far away from New York as possible and I certainly wouldn't associate with these sleazy wannabes. The women on this show are so shallow. They are catty sophmoric bitches who really need mirrors. The reality of reality tv is editing,I would love to see what didn't make it on the show. The genius of the Simon edits are a scream. |

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Hello all, Newbie here. ![]() ![]() I've had a good laugh reading this board. After last week's horror episode I have to agree with everything said. My take on Alex and Simon is that (as stated) they believe it is their destiny to be in "Society". I think they have no intention of fixing up the Brooklyn house. It's just a pit stop for them on the way to wealth and society when they meet the right connection. In their single mind Simon it too fabulous to be a hotel manager-bell hop for long. The right connection will offer him that fabulous job making millions and they will move to the Upper East Side. No need to spend any money on the Brooklyn house. "Question, question, question..." Does the French Au-Pair live in the Frat house with them? Alex and Simon make me think of Monty Python. They are a 2008 Monty Python skit. Jill's mom knows how to greet a driver. When Jill had a car and driver to take her mom shopping, Jill's mother went up to the driver, smiled and said "Hi, how are you" very sincerely. She treated him like a human being, not like the hired help. The 4th Mrs. Countess could learn a thing from Jill's mom. The 4th Mrs. Countess sounds like a Larry King-Kathleen Turner interview (doesn't matter who is speaking). I think Bravo should allow the film crew to comment at the end of each episode. I'd love to hear the thoughts of the people who had to film Ramona dancing. ![]() |

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I don't think the truly great care how limosine drivers address them. Bothering about such things would be so tiresome. |
