I don't think Ramona's intentionally mean. I don't even think she knew that she speaks before she thinks until she saw it on TV and people pointed it out to her.

I think she's just ditzy and has no social skills but she's managed to be successful in business and she got a better haircut.

Ramona and the Countess are really the only two that hold much interest for me anymore. I still can't get my head around why they think and say the things they do. Oh, and the married couple. Although they are so odd it can be a bit painful at times.

Ramona has been saying since the first season (on the show, not the reunion) that she "speaks before she thinks" and it gets her in trouble. That means she's known it's a problem for a long time.

OK, I guess I missed that, but she still has a better haircut these days.

Heard on the news tonight that Bethenny's father died, of cancer. He was living in California. Apparently he has been battling his disease for a while now.

How sad that at this time in her life, with the baby and upcoming marriage, she has to deal with losing her dad.

Thanks MamaC.....I was just looking at her Twitter page and she mentioned that she was going through a tough time but didn't elaborate.

Oh...so sad. I hope she was able to reconcile things with him before he passed. Didn't she have a really difficult childhood, and was raised by people other than her biological parents? So glad she has her fiancé for support during this difficult time.

So very sorry to hear this, as Bethenny has worked hard to overcome the negatives, and she sounded like in spite of any deficiencies, she really cared for her dad. The weight of her world is on her now, very sad it is; and I do wish her well.

Oooh I forgot to mention: I met Simon and chatted with him here in DC. He's very tall, and very gracious.
