| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Another HW, NeNe, seems pretty much herself also. Wish she'd cut the "I don't try to keep up with the Joneses, I AM the Jones" --her intro line. It's dishonest and beneath her. She's not exactly the "elite" Atlanta woman she aspires to be, never will be. She's ok being who she is.... big, bold, brazen, bodacious, brash. Never boring! So many of these HW are baloney to the core, they must think the viewers are brainless twits to believe the cameras show something resembling real lives.

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Imperfect1....I so totally agree with your post. I think she will make an awesome parent since she learned at an early age how to be a pathetic one. I too, am very happy her life seems to be coming together the way she was hoping it would. I truly hope Jillzy at least will come around and be happy for her as well since I thought I read they were on the outs. Hey...I just had a thought ....maybe Kelly Dimsimmone can be the Godmother...ok that was out of line and probably just heartless towards Bethenny :

As far as Kelly Dimsimmone (great name Gandolf!) being Bethanny's baby's godmother - ugh! That woman does NOT seem to have a big heart, in fact, the thought of Kelly being a godmother. . . well, all I can say is, remember the story of the wicked godmother in Sleeping Beauty (who was p***ed off because she didn't get invited to the birthday party for the princess) - so she acted like a 5 year old and sought her revenge. . . That's Kelly! ![]()

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I'm sure you knew the last comment was thrown in as "tongue =in = cheek"....not meant to be taken seriously. I can honestly see the comparison of the Sleeping Beauty reference. Although, I think it's a slight to the Godmother in that one to compare her to Dimsimmone. ![]()

I did. It's just that the image of Sleeping Beauty's evil stepmother was too perfect. . . except Dimsimmone out-evils her!!!

...what has Kelly done that's so evil??? Stupid, yes. Inarticulate, I agree with Alex on that one. Flighty, no arguments there. But evil? She may be annoying and she may be irritating, she may be either a bit wanting top-side as they say, or she may be a crypto-intellectual who just can't articulate on an ordinary level, or for that matter she may be basically a little girl who grew up too fast but I don't think she's evil. Moreover, Bethenny was rude to her. And when they met up at the Whatever Bar, after a bad start ("You've been waiting half an hour for me? Really? That's too bad!) Kelly started out trying to explain her position to Bethenny but then got trapped by Bethenny latching on to every one of her unfortunate and hapless phrasings. I don't think Kelly is from NY, and I don't think she can banter/kvetch/b*tch at a mile a minute the way Bethenny can. I never thought of Kelly as evil or as classless. Outclassed, maybe.

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Mmmm. You're forgetting that Kelly went into that situation with Bethenney with the specific intent of "disciplining" her. I think that it's been shown that if she had said to Bethenney "what you said was rude and hurtful and uncalled for" she would have received an apology right away. They were both grown women, neither was in a position to tell the other off. Kelly comes off thinking she's better than everyone else, thinking that she's allowed to be however she wants and everyone has to deal with it. She's incredibly self-centered, she's clueless, she's carazy!!! And don't forget, as Bethenny was leaving, Kelly felt the need to follow her out and tell her to "calm down". As Bethenny was leaving silently. |

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I agree, Kelly was outclassed; I'm not defending her, but I think she's more flustered by the drop of a hat than actively nasty. |
