Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Watching Atlanta, and thinking back on OC and Jersey, it became increasingly clear to me that the NY women are clearly the most mature and classy cast, and the least malicious for sure, with a few, ahem, leathery and "crazy eyed" exceptions....

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I agree t&r, and even that little tiff wasn't too bad by comparison. Alex put her finger on it - Kelly's inarticulate (strange for being a writer). The famous vertical difference merely meant that her behaviour was more mature than Bethennys' which, at the Charity meeting, was true. Bethenny was nasty to Kelly and about Kelly right in front of Kelly. I think in Kelly you have some, possibly a lot, of what you might call natural intelligence, but little, possibly very little, social skills (strange for being a soshalight). In Bethenny you have somebody who doesn't always know when snarky crosses the line to rudeness. I like 'em both actually, but then I also like oil and vinegar salad dressing and those two don't mix well either.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Maybe. But I guess I know what it is to be inarticulate sometimes. Maybe Kelly is overcompensating?

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Quote:
I don't know too many people who can come up with the right words at the right time in a snap. Myself included but I still manage to sound like I had at least a third grade education. Good Grief a "supposed" Columbia Grad and that's the best she can do???? I do agree she is overcompensating....for being unable to have an intelligent thought. It's not just with Bethenny either. Reunion show ring a bell? How about cleaning out her closet(or I should say having someone else do it for her) and those famous words of I'm a doer not a credit taker(don't slam me...I know it's not an exact quote) and then when she was flat out asked what charities she supports....I do believe that the whole sum added up to Zero, a big fat goose egg.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Gandolf........... I agree w/your thoughts on Kelly's attitude. Bethanny is a take me as you see me person. She doesnt put on airs and knows when she is out classed, but kelly has nothing that makes her out class Bethanny. Bethanny hangs her insecurities out there and does try to "snark" her way out of uncomfortable situations. Over all, I do think Bethanny is a good judge of what is going on in situations. Kelly seems to only be conscious of what is going on in Kelly's mind. I do wish she was not on the show this season. She made the show unenjoyable, I can even take the bickering between the other ladies because you know deep down they know they are a team, I don't get that from Kelly and watching the reunion shows it was evident none of the other ladies thought that either.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I like the show generally, but dislike Kelly. I really would rather not add to her giant ego or her bank account by watching her on the show.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I think Kelly is, frankly, an idiot. I think she thinks she is better than everyone else, I think she has no idea how the world really works. That she thought she could lecture Bethenny, who is her equal, as if she were a child was a demonstration of her arrogance. She's living in her own little world. Bethenny is not exactly the queen of class either though. I find her to be very catty. But none of them were malicious. None of them were manipulative. LuAnn, even though she was ridiculous, would never intentionally hurt someone just for spite, and neither would Jill or Bethenny or Alex or Kelly. Ramona, I'm not sure.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I don't think any RealHousewives cast is classier than the others. They all show the lowest form of human behavior on all the shows. Here's just a taste: Orange County: Vicki and Tamara's bashing and plotting against Gretchen and being mean to Lynn. NY: Ramona's treatment of Alex and Simon; Ramona's treatment of Jill and stupid tennis match. Luann's snide comments to everyone. Kelly's general nuttiness. NJ: Throwing the table anyone? Atlanta: Gossiping behind each other's backs and then being mad 'cause someone gossiped about them. Hair pulling. The classiest people IMO are: Deshawn - Remember her going to church and trying to resolve people's conflict and didn't like saying anything bad about people? Of course that's why she was kicked off the show! Gloria - Jill's mother. She is just a sweetheart. Greg - Nene's husband. He is also a sweetheart and a saint for putting up with crazy Nene. Lauri - (OC) I just like her. She struggles but she does it with such class and she's pretty. I would've said Dwight but I'm not liking him too much this new season.
