Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Great episode last night!! Alex/Simon ~ Those two beyond skeeve me out. Did you see how tight that shirt was that Simon had on. And then he had it unbuttoned down to the middle of his chest! I almost threw up watching them swapping spit. And I cracked up that he says he is throwing this surprise party but the guests only got a few cocktails on a docked boat. What kind of party is that? And those had to be the cheapest looking pair of earrings I have ever seen. I loved how they each had to pull on the bow to open the box. Gah those two make my skin crawl!! Jill ~ First of all if I had a dog that was nasty to anyone but me especially my daughter I think I would be following any advice the dog trainer gave me. Obviously a couple bites to her daughter isn't enough to make her want to keep her dog in check. Luann ~ Breakdancing? Seriously? Bethenny ~ She needs to chill on the whole kid thing. I am thinking the reason Jason wont give her a hard answer is that he already has three kids from a failed relationship so does he want to chance having another one with someone else and have that not work out? I thought her friend was rather rude though telling her that her eggs were getting old and stale. But Bethenny had her cocktails to take the edge off of such comments. Ramona ~ She disgusts me but I do think it is great that she instill in her daughter to make herself successful so that she doesn't become dependent on anyone later in life. Can't wait for next week. I can't believe Simon shows up to girls night! Oh wait yes I can.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I've always thought that the masculine version of "Noel" was pronounced like "Knoll". Sometimes Luann says that, but sometimes she gives him the Christmas treatment. WTF?

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Well I decided to check out Alex's blog on Bravo. She gives the website for where Simon purchased her new earrings. Well this place missed the boat, they don't even show earrings like the ones that he bought. What were they thinking? Don't they know that everyone in America would be wanting to buy a pair? Then Alex mentions her hair... Lastly I wanted to make a comment about my hair. Many people have commented about it, and all I can say is, it’s only hair! I work a 40+ hour week; I have two young boys who need me morning and night and quite frankly spending an hour in the salon is one less I get to spend with my boys. I ask you, what’s more important? Gee, she can take hours shopping for new clothes without her children, but going to a salon so she can look decent is just out of the question.

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Alex's hair-maybe if she just cut off about 6 inches and conditioned it?

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Poor Bethenny, if she wants a baby so bad she should go to the nearest sperm bank, she doesn't need baldy. And if she stays with him just because she doesn't want to be alone, that's just wrong! Paying someone $65 for breakdancing lessons? Stick with the cello No-el. I wonder what the guests at Alex's party thought when they weren't invited to go on the boat cruise with ALex and Simon? I kind of understood Ramona's pushing Avery last night after she told the story about her mother. But still Avery is only 12 years old, they should lay off stressing her out about what she's going to do with her life for about 6 years.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Wow, Bethenny, way to lose it. I liked the part about how "you can smell the blood in the water in Manhattan, with all those biological clocks ticking." Some originally questioned why she's on this show, since she's neither a wife nor has a house, but if they were looking for a perfect example of the unmarried NYC career woman in her late 30's, man, is she ever it. On her way down to Miami, we see Bethenny has a gold birkin! Jill carried her white birkin in the Hamptons. I sight birkins like other people watch birds. I think Bethenny saved up for hers, like an investment piece for her image. I am someone else who thought Alex's birthday gift of earrings was ... er, a little anticlimactic ... considering they were trying to pretend they had spent "over five figures and under six" at the St. Bart boutique. The boat charter and catering had to be a little chunk of change. I guess Simon could have struck a discount for the charter co. getting camera time, but I didn't see the company identified. I wondered if LuAnn locked up her jewelry while Cyclone was in the house. I was thinking she was probably rather relieved that the camera crew would be documenting his every move. I think it's neat that Noel wants to learn something new, but couldn't the kid skateboard or something? I don't really think breakdancing=path to coolness for a rich white kid. Either you are Justin Timberlake, or you are opening yourself up to be the class tool. How is it that Alex and Simon are grafted together, and yet he has to ask her if she likes shu mai? That stuff is in the frozen section of every corner grocer and at every Sunday brunch buffet in NYC. It's like it was some rare and exotic menu item. I would never believed someone named Ramona Singer could wear so many crosses. And despite the company's jewelry line being called "true faith", do they go to church? I am liking Jill more and more. She was so cute with her dog.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I figured Sleazemon got his earrings free for the product placement. The problem is the store manager must have seen the show and gave him the Wally World copies in an expensive box. He is only allowed one product placement freebie an episode. I still say we did not see the whole boat...could have had other parties at the same time. He did what looked like a hour cocktail event with house brands except for Bethenny and those little cocktail wienies and tuna puffs. Oh I am sure some really cheap caviar. As for the Birkins, Jill's was obviously the real deal. Bethenny may have saved up or gone to one of those high end resale places or she used the Rent a bag program. A new Birkin will start at $9000 for smooth leather the last time I checked. You can get them on ebay pre owned for a lot less all day long. If she is carrying a Birkin and the pretty large Chanel she had last week she is either doing really well with the BRAND that she is always promoting or she is getting hookups from friends in the industry....Ginny Hilfiger anyone? Speaking of the BRAND B has said that every time she goes out the door she is networking.....wonder how that worked for her sloppy drunken self on the boat?

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I am a lurker, who is now a member. I just wanted to see if anyone else noticed the episode where Ramona sat down with her husband to discuss her daughters brilliant acting career and had offered him a glass of wine. If you noticed her glass was full and he ended up pouring his own. I just thought it was funny and showed how completely self absorbed she was. I thought it also funny how the cameras stayed on the glasses till you saw him pick up his and fill it up. Just another little detail I thought amusing.
