When I lived in Brooklyn (in Park Slope, not Boerum Hill), we had one of those mowers for the back yard. Years later, a weed wacker ....another tool I think Alex would enjoy!

Not sure if this has been posted already - there is a spread of the housewives in the July 2008 edition of Harper's Bazaar. While I was going through the magazine, I was surprised to see them in there!!

I certainly thought that those Real observers and participants in NY society quoted in the article, hit the proverbial nail right on the head about this bunch. Very well done piece. Yes, just imagine Nan and Tommy Kempner running around "St. Barth's" (we must use the French spelling and pronunciation here) in a pair of thongs. To paraphrase Dana Carvey's impersonation of the elder Pres. Bush; 'Naht gonna happen, wouldn't be prudent...'

I would rather see the NY bunch than the OC bunch. I know it's all "reality", but the NY bunch are more interesting to me. I'm burned out on the OC bunch. As far as Tamra declaring that OC are the "real" housewives ..... .

I think the key word here is reportedly. I don't for a minute believe the howives are getting paid that much. Maybe the writer meant they (Bravo) are getting six figures worth of botox and boobs.

I still say I would like to see any of them (OC or NY) do the real housewive thing. Maybe Bethenny could, well at least we know she can cook.
