Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Yup, no comparison on the birthday gifts. I watched the Lost Episodes today. I was really shocked at how whiney Jill sounded. She needs to get over the fact that she wasn't invited to Ramona's cooking party. Geez, give it a rest Jill! I means she's dealing with Ramona, who cares? Jill acted like it was a cousin's wedding or something. As much as I can't stand Ramona, I had to high five her when Jill confronted her about lying about where she was on the evening of the party. Ramona replies "I don't give a sh** where you were!"

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Did anyone notice how sad Bethanny must have felt when her X replied to her question inquiring if he was happy in his relationship with his wife....."about 100% different than our relationship"....that would have hurt me.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City When Bethenny was looking at the photograph of her ex's child, I'm sure she was thinking that could have been her kid. Is this the "ex" who is the photographer that Tommy Hilfiger was referring to? What is up with the new fashion trend with guys where they wear a shirt, un-tucked and with the sleeves unbuttoned. Un-tucked is not bad, but it looks so sloppy to not button the sleeves especially while dining.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Here's my take on the whole jewelry/watches topic. a) Since when is Louis Vuitton the be-all and end-all of watches? Vuitton is a luggage company that recently (year 2002 or so) added timepieces to its collection. It's not as if Alex owns a Patek Philippe (and can you just imagine Simon giving a blank 'Sec Nettoyer' or 'Pamela Who?' look at the mention of Patek Philippe, lol). b) The earrings he bought Alex weren't awful-looking, but they looked cheap and they were the completely wrong style for Alex. They drew attention to her long stringy hair (and clashed with her long stringy haircolor) and her long stringy jawline. Some type of round, non-drop earrings would suit her better. It would draw attention toward her cheekbones and balance out the length of her stringy hair and stringy face. But hey, he's her stylist and after all, he's the one wearing a matching yellow tie & handkerchief while picking out the overpriced, cheap-looking earrings. c) For the most part, Jill's jewelry looks real but she wears too much of it too much of the time. There's a certain je ne sais quoi about how women in NYC carry (i.e., wear) their jewelry, and it speaks to whether or not the jewelry is real and whether or not the wearer is really wealthy or fake wealthy or nouveau riche. The way Jill wears hers screams nouveau riche, while the rest of them - with the exception of their engagement/wedding rings - are wearing fakes, costume jewelry and/or bling.

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Re: Ally's dad and Bethenny's mom: I think that they are not mentioned due to a kind of respect for them. They will not be part of the 'characters' on this show, so they remain thankfully anonymous. Simon/Alex: Watching the reruns after their protestations on the reunion show simply tell how delusional these two are. The first time Alex was taken to meet Bethenny and LuAnn at the restaurant, Simon went so far as to offer to wear a cocktail dress to be included and Jill told him politely but firmly, no. Also, Alex definitely snottily bragged about teaching their son "Twinkle Twinkle" in several languages, and it wasn't a joke.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Both Romona and Jill were doing well on the reunion discussing, how they really are friends, etc...but then Jill took it south with accusing Romona of lying. Romana was right in being mad. Bethany is hilarious. I like her. Romana's husb and her were definitly scripted on the bed. They are a cute family = I hope they really do have a good relationship. When Jill was saying "marry someone who loves you a little more than you love him" ...I think that was what she did the second time around...Bobby seems to adore her. The Count was hilarious on the tennis court. The County pays a big price for the lifestyle she has. She's cute, but a little much with the Countess baloney. Simon and Alex? Oh my...words cannot express. They do seem cluelessly sweet tho=

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Good question! I would think he would run the other way after what his daughter has said about him. Unless they have a tearful reunion and he tells her he has always loved her and then they go to therapy together.
