| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I am SO disappointed! I'm pretty sure I already saw about 90% of last night's lost episode on the Bravo website. I was so excited to see more of the catfight between Jill and Ramona, and I swear I didn't see anything NEW! I'm still waiting for Jill to say "you're like an idiot" to Ramona. Was it just me, or did Mario seem a little "scripted" while he and Ramona were sitting on their bed after she chaperoned the dance? It seemed a little fake to me.Can't wait for Kathy G!!! |

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I thought exactly the same thing. I can't imagine that it would be fair game for the camera crew to just hang out in their bedroom in case anything interesting happened. I think that scene was totally set up as a "We need something to show how chaperoning went. Mario, why don't you sit on he bed reading waiting for Ramona to come home. The Ramona, come in and tell him what happened"

And his reaction to Ramona, sarcastic and condescending.

My fave part of the lost footage show was the DeLessep's trip to the Statue of Liberty - Victoria's attitude toward the whole thing was hilarious! And I liked how she talked back to her dad (who seems like a total a-hole). I think that guy is absolutely rediculous. First of all, he's taking credit for giving the statue to the US? It was a gift from France to the US, just because his ancestors were on the boat that it was shipped in doesn't really mean that they 'gave' it to the US. I mean, did the guy who was on the boat with all of those cherry blossom trees given to us as a gift from Japan get credit for giving the trees to the US? Nope. Dumb, so incredibly dumb. And what little I've seen of the Count I don't like. He was a jerk when he was playing LuAnn in tennis, he seems like a dink to his kids, too. I feel sorry for Noel, he seems to want his parents around so much more and he tries so hard to get their attention and time. So what, so his great-great grandfather failed to build a canal and presented the statue of liberty to the US. How pathetic to still be using that very faded tie to history as a way to get people to respect you.

Saw most of it. Bored to tears, but then I had just watched "The Andromeda Strain," on A@E which kind of makes the comparison interesting, if anybody gets the sarcasm intended here.

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City Fragments is a pretentious store down the block from me that controls all the inventory into the fashionable department stores. (Barney's, etc.) Janet /Janice used to have interesting artists but now seems to let Ms. Candace Cummings control everything. Hers are the feet to kiss if you want to have a prayer of selling your work in NYC. Those nasty earrings were there because Candace is stuck in 1992 and thinks she has the most fabulous taste. Everything is "simple and elegant". She's the manager/buyer and I've never seen her that friendly to anyone. |

| Re: The Real Housewives of New York City I enjoyed the "lost footage" episode very much. I've always really liked Jill but one thing she said bothered me a little bit. Did anyone else catch this? She told her daughter to marry someone who loves you more than you love them and that's what makes a happy marriage. Are you kidding me??? I wonder how Bobby feels about that. |
