Alex is a year or so older than I am, and NO ONE my age talks that way. It's like she watched too many episodes of Gilligan's Island as a child, and spent all of her time trying to imitate Mrs. Howell.

Are you kidding A & S wouldn't miss an opportunity to "improve their station in life" for the world! I understand there is a season 2 but no one has signed on the dotted line, but who knows, that was a few weeks ago.

Just saw an interesting show on Science channel where they talked about expanding Panama Canal. Remember the countess said the count's family built P.C. - WRONG! De Lesepps started to build P.C., but after about 20,000 men died from malaria, malnutrition, accidents, etc.... he backed out. In about 1905 Teddy Roosevelt comes along from the good old USA and guess what - P.C. is built. Sorry countess, can't hide from history.
