I liked the picture of Johan in their backyard pool (one of the reasons they don't live in an apartment). I have one of those pools too, it was $29.99 at Target. I guess I'm no longer 'keeping up with the Van Kempens'.....I AM the Van Kempens!!!!!
Thanks for the laugh dear. Well I have the $200.00 pool so now I guess you must try to keep up with the Poohtzes. Oh and sure, you can be the Countess in our FORT take on the NYC wives. This is going to be fun, you can snub people and my eyes can have spasms and then I can walk out.

This statement: "Johan is as obstreperous as Francois..." makes me want to book a flight to Brooklyn, knock on their door, and pummel them one by one.

Actually, you sound as obstreperous as all of us other FORTers.
If you want, I can sell my $200.00 pool and send you the money to help pay for the flight, the only thing is, I want it on tape, I have to see this.

I also want to combine but instead of Mona and LuAnn - I want to be Alex and LuAnn in that way I can pretend with snobbish attitude that I am someone and with hippie attitude that I just want to move from this station all while I ignore my children and deny deny deny all my aspirations while calling all my black friends Condoleeza

I don't have ANY pool! I have to use the community one with all the other lower, scrappy people. I bet the farmer doesn't mind!
In my fake Australian/British/cockney accent, I think I'll use the excuse of, "My residence doesn't require a swimming pool due to it's fabulous location and the fact I can jot off to the beach at any given time."

The photos all seem staged and the site just seemed to pimp out the whole family instead of having a family site to share with the world like other families do. I hope that makes sense.

Enjoy the tragedy:
McCord van Kempens
I just looked at that site - BARF!

Alex is bragging about flying her kids when they were just days old. I'm thinking that is not good for a brand new baby? Planes are so germy! And probably not a good idea for mom, either. Your chances of blood clots are greatest after delivery until 6 weeks postpartum. I'd think adding a long-haul, international flight at that time is a bad idea.

Astonishingly, Alex and Simon have an adorable little one - Yohan. He's a cutie.

But he's Obstreperous!! (to the lesser people- like myself who had to look it up) it means, he's stubborn and unruly! They embrace it because it's probably easier than real parenting. That's where the hard work is. And no wonder Frankie is that way with parents that let him stab stranger's food. Why can't they switch the French Au Pair for the British Supernanny?!?!?

(Speaking as Mrs. De Lesseps).....It's alright that you don't have a pool Beez, and you may continue to utilize this board along with me, just DON'T expect me to shake your hand, or acknowledge you in any fashion. I mean, what WOULD "The Count" think???
