Yeah, Avery most certainly has better taste than her mother.

I wonder about Mario's taste, though. When Ramona told the story of how she and Mario met, she said that Mario had been eyeing her at the gym, and then approached her at a restaurant and asked her, "Aren't you the girl from the gym that wears the black thong with green ruffle?"

Now, I know that they met awhile back, but I was around in the 80s/90s, and I don't remember ever wearing black thongs with green ruffles - or anything like that, so time is no excuse! Sounds like she's always dressed horribly, and Mario either liked it or was able to look past it

I remember the thongs.... circa 91... or thereabouts. I never wore one, but all the aerobics instructors did. They wore black (or colored) shiny footless tights with thong-leotards (or bottoms)....

Ramona probably had mile high bangs also....

Wow, I guess I missed that fad. How could people workout with thong-leotards? Were they spandex? I was in high school back in '91, that fad must've missed where I was, LOL.

Yes, I can imagine Ramona, in her black thong with green ruffle, permed and bleached hair with the giant fan of bangs, electric blue eyeliner, hot pink lipstick, and, of COURSE, the barette clipping up one side of her hair.

I found it really amazing that Ramona told the camera about the black thong/green ruffle with such an attitude of pride, and she had also had a conversation around the pool about pole dancing and MILF's with her friend that was a playmate, and then got so upset at the reunion show and walked off when Alex's nude photo's were brought up. It actually insults me as a viewer that she must think I'm too stupid to remember all these things she's said and done when she tries to justify her latest crazyness.

I think I found a good man for Ramona then, he is only missing the green! He even sports the all so fashionable cross!
