She doesn't want to live in the suburbs, because she knows that they would not put up with her, they would have to keep their house looking decent and they probably wouldn't be ok with the nudie pics. Also the ladies in the neighborhood would be looking up the sexual offenders site to see if Simon was listed.

Ok. Just watched the reunion show (Bravo's constant repeats pay off from time to time).

They are all just a little on the nutty side, I think. They bring home the notion that truth is stranger than fiction. No Hollywood tv writer could write these characters and pass them off as believable. We had to see the real thing to believe it.

I like all of them - even Ramona, Alex, and Simon.

I think they'd all kill each other if they did another season together, though.

I headed over to the blogs at Bravo for the first time; read Ramona's first, and I don't understand some of the user comments. I don't get the hatred for Ramona. Some say she forced her daughter to do acting, therefore making her a bad parent, however, at the ending of the reunion show, Bravo stated that she's focusing on school-- not acting. The daughter never acted to begin with; it was merely an audition or so.
She's outspoken? And I think is most viewers' minds, the Simon at the party incident stands out. I don't see why Simon and his wife should get a free pass; they are adults, not children that can't handle the truth.
Thing is, the other wives have criticized that couple at one point or the other, difference being: Luann is subtle about it. She did the same thing by making it clear that Simon wasn't invited, only she did it at a later time with fewer people; like I said, subtle. I don't believe in being gentle with people like Simon and his wife, who clearly should distinguish between right and wrong and acting oblivious to it-- that's a contradiction, however, I do believe they aren't that stupid.
Bethenny- She has something to say about everyone, only she does it in a witty manner. I do believe that's the only reason she didn't receive much criticism for her reaction to the couple's house. However, she says it like it is most of the time.

City is where the connections are. Especially in New York, where finding D-list acting jobs for people such as Alex must be plenty.

Why expect Alex & spouse to admit they are social climbers but not expect the same of the rest?Plus they were comfortable showing their home and friends- can we say the same for the other ladies? Bethany was talking up her wholesome image when the photo incident came up with Alex but never revealed she was topless in a flick a couple of years ago- she played a knife wielding nut. Ramona has that gold cross hanging from her neck as she
dances like a slut on TV--great example for her kid. The Countess is so rich she has a radio show and is going to model????? I guess they are all delusional so why the hate for Alex and spouse? And Jill--she is so delusional about her past her own sister called her out on it--they are not from some upscale family. And they way she talked about her daughter gaining back all the "water weight." Nice..... I still much prefer Alex.Actually I prefer the housewives of orange county to these ladies.

During the show Alex and Simon appear almost desperate to "better their station in life" whether it be social climbing or whatever, the others not so much.

Bethenny is not claiming to be "wholesome", she is employed by a couple of companies whose image is "wholesome".

Ramona dancing at a club with a short dress on is a far cry from posing completely nude in a public hotel.

Just because the Countess is wealthy, she's not allowed to work? I think its great she earns her own money.

I don't recall Jill claiming to be from a wealthy family, I don't know what you are referring to when you say she is delusional about her past.

Isn't it great that we all like or dislike the people on this show for different reasons? We all carry our own set of values and when we see a lack of them in someone else, we tend to disapprove of them.

I can relate to A&S loving each other and their children, but I can't relate with how they raise their children, how they live, or how they seem so fake. I can't even imagine being or acting like them. The qualities I look for in a person just doesn't seem to be there. I actually feel bad for them that they are so clueless. It would seem that when so many people find you to be so disturbing and messed up that you would step back and take a good look at yourself so you could realize what others realize and try to better yourself from that. I guess some people just like leaving the blinders on and remaining ignorant.

I think what bothers me the most about the A&S living quarters is they did not offer a ANY creditable reason for the mess.
Not that they owe the viewer, but at least let first time visiter Bethenny know. And if A&S had done that, she would of had
their back at the reunion show.

My kitchen is half way through a remodel. We have the floors, cabinets and countertops. The ceiling is, for lack of a better word, OPEN with metal fluorescent "workshop" lights. WHY no drywall and new lighting? We can't agree on what to do and I refuse to settle!

But I don't need to worry about my baby boy getting into any kind of remodel mess. I love him SO much that he has been shipped off to a $30,000 a year boarding school.

Alex says to Bethenny on the reunion show, a writer and acquaintance of my dad’s stated that "contradictions don’t exist, and if you think you see a contradiction, check your premises because one of them is wrong.". Alex, just because someone makes a statement, does not make it a fact!! Learn how to speak English correctly before you try and teach your children a second language. Maybe they can teach you a thing or two.
