I'm watching re-runs of the show right now. Did anyone notice what Alex wore to the dinner in the final episode? Agh! It's very matronly, looks like it's really outdated and too large for her, but then she doesn't seem to be wearing anything under the button up top, so it's just bare skin between the top's buttons, and her belly button is exposed.

I hope she didn't pay a lot for that. Weird choice to wear to a formal dinner.

30 years ago my friend was planning her first wedding. Her mom was so excited that her friend "THE COUNTESS" was going to let them use her house in in Bel Air! Sounds great , right? All I heard about for weeks was how fabulous "the countesses" house was. OMG! What a dive! It was a run down tract home (must have been the poor side of Bel Air). She had painted an ugly mural on the garage door, in honor of the wedding, with what appeared to be tempra paint. Her 1950's refrigerator was painted shocking pink(obviously by her). The whole house was run down and there were little ,cheap nick knacks everywhere. She set the romantic mood in the back yard buy placing pink, rubber, blowup swans in the dirty, leaf filled pool! Yikes! I don't know if my friend knew what the house looked like before that day. It was like we were in a bad movie! I always thought that her mom was just impressed with knowing a countess. Countess-schmountess! It doesn't mean anything! It doesn't mean that you have money, class or taste. P.S. Not all countesses look like Luanne. Mine was about 4ft tall, with "Baby Jane" makeup and in her 60's. She was scary!

I just checked this out on IMDB. My first reaction was that it's very odd for someone who has no other acting experience to have the starring role in a movie. You know, you always see tons of little bit parts listed on IMDB, leading up to the actor"s noteworthy roles.

Then I saw the comment left by the one person who had seen the movie. Now I see why she got the starring role. (Apparently it was an incredibly amateurish attempt at a movie, to say the least).

a season on The Real Housewives of NYC, even though she is not a housewife or even married

and an upcoming cookbook on nothing in particular

At this point I'm thinking she's a very-connected media-whore.

I don't find Ramona young looking.

Luanne has a big neck and face. I am not sure what she'd be modeling. And I'd never guess from the show that she is a manners expert.

I think Jill may have thought that Ramona didn't invite her to the party because she was going to talk some smack about her. I think that's why she got all bent out of shape for not getting an invitation from her. My guess is that she ordinarily doesn't act like that....free guesses from your internet psychic.

Alex, I am sorry that Ramona was so intimidated by your youthful bod that she had to leave the room. Oh well!. I could actually envision Ramona's daughter saying, mom could you just please sit in a room and behave yourself like the other women.

Why are they singling Alex and Simon out for being climbers? They are all climbers. They'd probably be more interesting if they weren't.

Bethanny's legs are skinny not in a good way; but otherwise she looked very beautiful that night.

I don't know if we should believe Jill's reason for not returning. At 16-17 years of age, teens usually don't want much to do with their parents, she could be close to her daughter, but just how much that one month of shooting takes away from time with her. At the reunion show, from her interaction with Alex and her husband, I think she was disgusted by them. Maybe it could be to disassociate herself from them, plus, she most likely meets Bethenny, who seemed the closest to her, outside of the show anyways.

They shoot for longer then one month. And it's when your teens DON'T want you around that you need to be MORE available.

The problem is Alex and Simon refuse to admit they are social climbers. They both said it was the editing that made them appear to be social climbers and they do not want to be socialites. They are both in denial which is their problem, but its their condescending, better than everyone attitude that makes them appear even more stupid than they are portrayed through the "editing".
I seriously doubt that Ramona is jealous of Alex's youthful body...are you kidding? She may be jealous of something but I really really doubt she is jealous of THAT body!!!

Yes, that's on a public database. From what I've read it appears that the older Jill may be Bobby's ex wife.
