Re: The Real Housewives of New York City

Just watching the reunion show now....my thoughts are that I still love them - warts 'n all. From crazy Alex to crazy Ramona, I think these women are great.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City

I hope that Jill does not decide to leave....It will certainly not be the same without her..I just watched the grande finale again.....getting late...I can not go to bed with Simon on my mind...I will take a book to read...Wouldn't it be pathetic if Jill doesn't return and the Van Kampens return in a new apartment.....with a real awepare......?? and next season little Frankie can actually talk ...

Holy Inappropriatness....I practically posted the same post an hour ago....to many skinny girl margaritas for me...LOL

Isn't the whole concept of 'station in life' a bit of outdated elitism? Even in supposedly class-ridden Britain the idea of somebody having, let alone wanting to 'improve' their 'station in life' would be a ridiculous anachronism.

Simon must watch reruns of "Upstairs Downstairs" quite often.

Also, it's not like contractors in heavily unionized cities like New York City finish their work on time and fast.
Heck, contractors in my experience always delay..delay...delay.
It doesn't surprise me it's is taking some time to complete this personal home renovation for them. So what? They aren't suppose to live or shop until their home is perfect?

Eh..

Yeah but if you have "more than five figures, less than six" to drop on clothes, and experience managing a hotel for demanding clientele, you can move contractors along. Certainly they could have sacrificed a St. Bart's trip to get things going.

It seems that pricy clothes, social climbing, naked self-"portraits" and French au pairs are more important to A&S than providing their children a safe and wholesome home.

That is one seriously screwed up set of priorities.

I mean I loved how Alex said that having a child would be a 'good idea.' What happens if they change their collective mono-mind? Will they wall up Frankie and Johnny or just neglect them like they neglect every other uninteresting project they get bored with?

Yes. I should have him.

I can't help but feel a little sorry for Alex. Her home, and whatever state she chooses to keep it in, is nobody's business. Her social calendar is also no one's business, nor is the relationship that she has with her husband.
It is when she puts it about on national TV.

I don't remember having this much ill will towards anyone on the RHOC (even Lauri never bothered me this much). At least the OC women seemed to genuinely like each other and weren't always backstabbing, two-faced liars. How did Bravo find these losers? That said, if there's another season I'll probably watch it. I'm a glutton for punishment.
I thought the RHOOC women were WAY more likeable than this bunch (except maybe Lauri Whining, er, Walletsniffer, er, Waring). Despite being so controlling, Vickie had fierce love for her family; Jeanna you coud pop a brew with, and Tammy was certainly fun.

Does Tammy = Bethenny?

"Not everyone has a good marriage" wasn't an implication that Ramona's marriage was no good?

Justified or not, that was a 'bad thing' to say.

It appears none of the housewives have signed on for Season 2 yet --

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City

Guys, I finally figured out who Alex looks like! (M)Ann Coulter! Think about it: same horseface, bad teeth, wonky boobs and delusion that she's hot. The only difference is, Mann Coulter actually does have some $$$ and the guy she used to live with admitted to being in the porn business.

Re: The Real Housewives of New York City

I just read the article, I cant believe they only received 1/10 of the pay their counterparts on the west coast received. The OC ladies were payed very well!
