I finally caught some of this show tonight--a bit of the prior episode and most of the new one. On the earlier one, that Lola girl scared me. She looked like a space alien. The hair, the lips, but worst of all were the giant teeth. I wanted Sigourney Weaver to come and protect me.

ITA, dallas_viewer, Peter was a pretentious douche. And the pair of dudes--Tai and German? I know they were physically 31, but they were mentally 15. I don't know how Patty will be able to get them successful long-term matches without also providing mental counseling for the lot of them.

I see most of these women as gold-diggers and I think some of these guys would be better off finding a "normal" woman who doesn't know that they are rich.

regarding the guys on this show and who use this type of "millionaire" dating service - they don't want a "normal" woman who is supporting herself with a professional job. They want a trophy wife who they can impress with their money. Especially the guys who want to date people more than a decade younger than them - they want arm candy who will appreciate their "generosity" when a real woman would gag at that and not want to be controlled by some jerk and his wallet. Some of these guys have struck me as being too busy in their jobs to find time to date regular people, they're just too hung up on finding some Paris Hilton meets Pamela Anderson only with bigger boobs. I dunno. If they're picking people based just on looks, how long will it last? Dr. 90210 to the rescue, I guess.

As was pointed out on another board, Peter would never have picked Christine (the redhead). She actually headed a mental health center. His telling her "I fed 20,000 people last year" would probably not have made as big an impression on her as it might on a 20-something bimbo, who he could better hope to awe with his "goodness" and "spirituality". (And just how did he feed those 20,000 people? I give regular donations to the local food bank, and they tell me that my 25 or 50 dollars provides x number of meals....based on that, why, I guess last year I probably fed maybe 500 people myself! Plus add in that website I went to last year where, if you just clicked on the website, they said they would donate a few cents or a can of food or whatever. I probably fed even more people! :-))

I've watched two episodes of this and couldn't make it through a third. The men are all controlling slimeballs. They all want a gorgeous girl in her early twenties while they're balding, pudgy or run a porn empire. What decent woman would sign up for that? Must be why they're single.

That line about feeding 20,000 made such an impression on the twenty something that her response was, "I'm trying to cut down on carbs." I spit out my water at that one.
Anyway, he shouldn't be bragging about his good deeds to anyone which proves he is so full of himself and not so spiritual. My husband commented that he should date himself which was based on the best friends who actually were dating themselves.
My opinion: they were all really good actors.

They were certainly alarming and her lack of eyebrows enhanced her alien appearance. It is sweet that this nerdy guy found a woman he considers a babe who is sweet and loves him back. I hope she took her hair extentions off.

Patty wears a wig. It was very apparent when she put it in braids for Peters "class", though I spotted it right out of the gate. I suspect she has very curly hair and doesn't want to take the time to flat iron it. Her aversion to curly hair is typical of some Jewish women. To pass that bias along to clients is nuts. I really don't think men have a straight or curly preference for the most part.

She is not a bad looking woman and could benefit from a makeover herself. Loose the wig and pink lipstick for starters. She even has her staff wearing it.
