I read somewhere that 70% of the time, Patti's clients don't have contact with their date after the first date.

That alone should put the matchmaker out of business.

That's the "extremely high success rate" she touts in the show's opener? How is she allowed to get away with saying that? Oh yeah, so-called "reality TV."

I think that bald guy was way over the top with his date, it's ashame he lied to Patty and his intentions. I would not have minded going to the market to pick out a dessert if it was truly for the romantic rooftop date....I think it could be kinda cute and fun. But taking her to try embryos and all, uh no...personally I would of walked out on him. The reaction he gave Patty about setting him up with her that should of been her reaction. Creepy, creepy, creepy....he will be on the market FOREVER. Ok have to admit, glad Patty threw his butt out!!!

The lawyer was not to bad, but in all honesty I don't see him staying in one relationship for very long, and he is a divorce lawyer!!! Boy some lucky girl can take his butt to the cleaners. I think the sex discussions were a bit odd. I think Nelly looked relieved she did not get picked. I don't think he is a bad guy, but he won't stay loyal to one woman.

That's an insult to Andrew Zimmer! Baldie was serouisly creepy.

I wouldn't have minded going to the market to purchase stuff for a picnic, etc., but then going to a place and having weird food ordered for you? Uh, no! I didn't like his control issues, that also sent up a red flag for me.

These "clients" are cast by Bravo and do not pay for her services. Her real clients do, and they are quite different, no doubt.

What bothers me, and it shouldn't but it does, is that they are not married and have a child, and they're in the matchmaking business. At first, I got mad at Destin for not marrying her and then I remind myself that she's an adult and made the decision to have a child without being married. I guess it wouldn't matter except you could tell that it bothered her when she, Destin and Patti were talking about it and he acted so reluctant. But then why should he get married when he has everything he needs/wants without marrying?? :nono

Amen sister...preach it...I am old fashioned too!

    Is that anything like refudiate??!!

That word or "non-word" conversate has been around forever on tv reality/court shows...it is usually spoken by low class, uneducated people that are clueless about the proper use of the word "conversation" in an actual sentence. I hate when I hear someone use that word...it's like nails on a chalkboard!

I remember it too...it was disgusting on Survivor and a million times more disgusting on this show with the serial killer guy wanting you to eat it. Someone mentioned he seemed like Jeffrey Dahmer to them...wonder if he eats people since he likes to eat weird stuff...just a thought....

For some reason this guy struck me as really being "gay" and he is just in denial and overcompensates for facing the truth by dating and "doing" so many women....

    "He doth protest too much"....

    Just my observation....

I actually cannot believe Patti still has this business. She has all the people skills of a Joseph Stalin. She is rude, crude, insensitive, whiney, vulger, a bully, mean, she has almost no redeeming qualities. True most of her clients are losers with no people skills, but you are in a people business, moron. She flies off the handle everytime something doesn't go exactly how she wants. I can't stand her and I would pay an escort service $2000 an hour before I would hire her. I can't imagine this business being successful very much longer with her attitude.

Well, I live in the area that she used to do her show from.
I'd never heard of her business and I doubt there was that much success to it, if it were, in fact, a "real" business.
