To her credit Patrick seemed satisfied. I don't know why but he did. His date was late and showed up looking like her hair was bobbi pinned to her scalp. What's wrong with him? She has a dog so he likes her? The woman missed the date and got there when it was dark!
Oh and one more thing about lonnie. Did you see him suddenly get interested in Sabrina when she said she modelled for "things like playboy". Oh yeah, no one got his attention except the girl who did porn. Fortunately, Sabrina is smarter than he is and pegged him for a loser right away.
Re: Millionaire Matchmaker
That Lonnie guy was a snake! At least the first guy was really into it for a mate!
Re: Millionaire Matchmaker
Her lips could easily have a spinoff.
Re: Millionaire Matchmaker
If my memory serves me, two of the guys featured (of 6? or was it 8? so far) actually ended up in "dating" status with people Patty introduced them to. The first was the musician who needed help picking out clothes and whom Patty made shave his ludicrous mini-beard. The second was the shy animal lover guy from this week's episode, the one who was dating Lola. THat's a much better ratio than The Bachelor series or other dating shows where we see someone spending a lot more time trying to find the right person from a pre-selected pool. Who knows if either are actually still together, but if that is accurate, Patty does pretty well, especially with the weirdos she has to work with. Both of the guys who actually started dating someone were older and not looking for a 'barely legal' type (unlike some of her customers, Lonnie the sleeze), so that probably helps.

I must have missed the part of rocker nerd getting hooked up because the last I saw was Patty yelling at him because he did not make a follow up date with the woman he said he liked so much and then he could not commit to a time for a date because of his schedule. I don't know it there was something on the screen after that giving followup so if I missed it I stand corrected.
I don't really have anything against Patty but I think letting that creep lonnie use her show when his partner of his club is a reality show veteran was a bit irresponsible. From the get go it was clear he was not in it for real but moreso to promote his club. He sat there during the speed date saying rude stuff like "tell me what ya got." I mean what man wanting to meet a woman for a date says that? Then his repeated inquiries about when he could have sex was enough to disqualify him.
I'd like to see this show work. However, everyone on it seems a little odd.
Re: Millionaire Matchmaker
Europeans, especially the French, are very laid back. I think that Julien's issues could be more nature than nurture but he just may not have had alot of experiences with women and is very nervous. See how comfortable he was speaking in French to the waiter and he was very personable. I think we should give him a break and hopefully he finds a woman that is a good match for him.
I see most of these women as gold-diggers and I think some of these guys would be better off finding a "normal" woman who doesn't know that they are rich.
Re: Millionaire Matchmaker
tictac, it was at the very end of the episode, they had text on the screen that said Jeff (old rocker dude) took Patty's advice and asked out Tara and that they are now dating. You can actually see it at the Bravo website, as they have that episode available now (it's in part 5 of the video for episode 2). 2 out of 6 - pretty good results so far.
Re: Millionaire Matchmaker
They made such a cute couple. I'm so glad someone found their mate in this thing, especially since it costs the millionaire alot of money to do it.

Re: Millionaire Matchmaker
OMG, that Peter. What a pretentious douche. I loved how he was unable to see (admit?) that his date was crappy and that he was not actually God's gift to the model/actress he chose.
Anyway, practicing QiGong, or doing special breathing techniques, does not a spiritual person make. As we now have evidence.
What a total douche. I wonder if he and a couple of the guys we saw in previous episodes are representative of the kind of guy who avails himself of Patti's services?
