She markets a product that men with money want. They want young beautiful women to go on dates with. She supplies young beautiful women for them to go on dates with. I'm doubting that the majority of her clients come to her with the intention of finding life long love.

And, if she can step between people and a lot of their money by doing what she's doing, I say more power to her! Beats digging ditches!!

Then it sounds like she's running an escort service, not a matchmaking service as she says in the opening. So what's the 99% success rate? She can find a one-time date for 99% of her clients? This show is a total sham.

Do we know if she has had any children? I can't help but wonder if the guy from Tough Love is her son.
    Yup, with donuts!!

I don't think she has any children...lol..the guy from tough love is a trip though....at least IMO he does try to help the people whereas Patti does nothing but judge

and how many times have we heard Patti say especially last season..if I was a millionaire I would just go around the world doing matchmaking for free..mmmmm..when the guy last night said he had 7 million she said she had more...doesn't that qualify...just another form of hypocropticy from her...they seem to pop up more and more with each show

I always assumed it was a modified escort agency and not a dating service. Or "dating' was used very loosely. If you look at the men on the show not many seem honestly interested in any sort of long term relationship with substance. I would think that is a fairly accurate representation of the people who use her services.

Between that scene, the argument Patti had with Chelsea and Dustin during the interviews, and begging the millionaire to let her give him a makeover (what kind of professional businesswoman puts on a little girl voice and begs "please please please"), Patti came off during this whole episode like an 8th grader. I wonder if she has any control over the editing and what is shown. Can't imagine she would want that immature behavior in all those scenes to represent her and her business on national TV. Then there was the scene when she was watching the doctor's video, and when he said how wealthy he is, she said flippantly that she has more money than that. Who cares? Is this a competition between her and her clients?

Two questions: Who would actually want to be her client when she is shown as a matchmaking failure, a shrew, and immature to boot; and why do people like her rake in millions when there are loads of mature, capable, talented, smart, skilled women unemployed and underemployed, struggling to get by? Seriously. I guess I am not in a very good mood today, but last night's show really was irritating to me. Now I have another show I won't bother to watch anymore.

Or, the production staff called Josie to let her know where the mixer would be held...

They should change the name of the show to "The Millionaire Escort Service." Geez, do multi-millionaires really have so much trouble getting their own attractive dates if that's all they're looking for? Why go to the trouble of dealing with all Patti's orders and requirements, like no sex unless they're in a committed monogamous relationship ... or is that line just thrown in there every week to try to convince us it is NOT an escort service?

If she promoted sex she wouldn't be an escort service and would be running a prostitution business which is illegal (escorts are perfectly legal). I'm willing to bet that most of the men glaze right by the no sex part and offer up some interesting "gifts" to entice the women they are on dates with into bed.

Men with money don't necessarily want to bother with having to go out and meeting pretty women to bring out with them. Which is why escort services and prostitution businesses tend to do well. It's no commitment, they get their pretty girl for the night whether to just show off or to actually have sex with and then don't have to deal with the ongoing crap that comes with relationships.

Patti guarantees a herd of women to choose from. They can find the right flavor for whatever their mood is. She meets the requirements of the men when it comes ot education, age, breast size, height etc.

It is waaaaay easier to place an order for your date for the night than to actually go hunt down someone you have to keep around for awhile.

Both of these guys were very annoying. The Computer guy has some serious issues and the BH doctor is just too gay for words. He was almost as frightening as the Doctor on Dr. 90210. What is it with these plastic surgeons? Have they just been around too much botox?
