On a side note, talk about photoshoping on that pic of her, geeze.
They took away her double chin & gave her a defined chin, gave her a virtual nosejob & airbrushed the living daylights out of her face. I would not have picked her out of a lineup!

If Patty has a 99% marriage rate, how come one of the people on her show stay together? And, why does she use paid actors if she's so good at what she does? It doesn't make sense to even have a show if she's not using real people.
ur homely, jewish and rich. u get married. 5 yrs later, ur still homely and jewish but now ur divorced and broke - #itsjillzarinsfault- by little ol' me

THis is reality TV and they always want to stage it, it seems.
Seriously, though, I highly doubt she has a 99% success rate and I think it's more escort than matchmaking service.

I agree that it feels more like an escort services than matchmaking service if you break it down. Escort services do not necessarily guarantee sex acts and in fact if they did it would be illegal. So if you take that out of the equasion you have men with money going to patty to set them up on dates with pretty girls.

I've been saying all along that the show does not reflect anything close to a 99% success rate. I think they need to explain that, or else take it out of the intro. Otherwise, it just looks like a blatant lie, and they should not be allowed to get away with it. Makes Patti look like a fraud, whether the millionaires and dates are from Central Casting or not. It's already been stated in this thread by people supposedly in the know that the participants are recruited by casting agents as representative of the types of millionaires in her club, and are not real members. Even so, if they are going to tout a 99% success rate, the fix-ups on the show ... even if scripted ... should reflect that. So far, the episodes have shown more like a 99% failure rate! If she's such a great matchmaker, why do 99% of the fix-ups shown actually NOT work out? Doesn't make sense to me.

okay Patti the matchmaker that claims a 99% success rate goes to a PHYSIC for information on her OWN RELATIONSHIP....:nono now is it just me but is there something wrong with this picture....and oh my Josie hurt her feelings.. yea josie was sort of out of place but she had to find out about the mixer somehow whether she was invited or not..might go back to all the set ups by the producers...but IMO Patti can't take hearing the truth about herself...

then she gets really mad with one of the men..yea he acted stupid..but aren't these men the ones that have to pay the "big fees" to get her special interaction....you start making them mad and word will get around..but what she told him was the truth I just think Patti needs a filter sometimes and she could say things in a more positive way

Patti..please don't compare yourself to Yoda...Yoda was very wise ...mmmmmm gonna leave the rest of that alone..lol...I don't want to get in trouble for posting what I am really thinking

    Re: Millionaire Matchmaker

I think the point of her visit to the psychic was to justify the fact that she's not married, which I guess she has taken a lot of criticism for, both on and off the show. The psychic gave her "permission" not to be married at this time ... she's such a powerful woman, she doesn't need to be married, eventually she'll have everything she wants, blah blah blah. It was a setup for the other segment with Josie and the shrill fight they got into, which I think Patti handled very unprofessionally in front of all the women at the mixer.

She also acted in an immature way in front of the women being interviewed when Chelsea told one of them she was "in," and Patti got all bent out of shape. She needs to learn how to pull someone aside and talk to them calmly but assertively instead of getting into a loud, public ego battle. Also unprofessional was the way she was begging the guy (Michael?) to let her give him a makeover. She was so whiny and childish sounding. She could have sat him down and explained in a mature manner that his appearance would be a turnoff to the kind of woman he wanted. He still might not have agreed, but at least she wouldn't have acted in a manner demeaning to herself and her (supposedly) professional service. Is that how a "powerful" businesswoman behaves?

So, that's two more "clients" whose matches didn't work out. Again, I ask where is the 99% success rate? Why do they keep showing one failure after another?

I have a question...I know not too long ago we were discussing how much Patti's fees were....and Patti has said more than once she does not accept everyone....so if she did accept josie then she should have fixed her up on more than one date especially if josie paid fees for her services...now when josie said that the guy had invited her ..did anyone else notice that he kind of slunked off..which tells me that maybe he did tell her about the mixer

    Re: Millionaire Matchmaker

I'm not sure if the guy denied it. Since Patti apparently doesn't hold the mixers in the same spot each time, Josie must have known where it was somehow. Someone had to have told her, or maybe it is posted on the website. Who knows. The whole scene was so ridiculous.

Between that scene, the argument Patti had with Chelsea and Dustin during the interviews, and begging the millionaire to let her give him a makeover (what kind of professional businesswoman puts on a little girl voice and begs "please please please"), Patti came off during this whole episode like an 8th grader. I wonder if she has any control over the editing and what is shown. Can't imagine she would want that immature behavior in all those scenes to represent her and her business on national TV. Then there was the scene when she was watching the doctor's video, and when he said how wealthy he is, she said flippantly that she has more money than that. Who cares? Is this a competition between her and her clients?

Two questions: Who would actually want to be her client when she is shown as a matchmaking failure, a shrew, and immature to boot; and why do people like her rake in millions when there are loads of mature, capable, talented, smart, skilled women unemployed and underemployed, struggling to get by? Seriously. I guess I am not in a very good mood today, but last night's show really was irritating to me. Now I have another show I won't bother to watch anymore.
