Calling all aspiring actors, models, and dancers: Big Shot Live Talent Search

Big Shot Live is the first-ever national online talent search that gives one person, every day, the chance to audition in front of a Hollywood powerbroker for entertainment industry opportunities ranging from a guest role on a TV show or in a movie, to a model in a commercial advertisement or dancer in a music video. Each week individuals submit audition tapes in the category of their choice and then start seeking votes. At the conclusion of each category’s week-long voting period, one person per category will be selected from the top five competitors to go to Hollywood. People can vote one time per day. Big Shot Live’s managers are Brian Husky, Eddie Pepitone and Todd Glass – comedians who know how hard it is to get that first big break. They will shepherd show participants through the audition process. The website is live for registration. We already have thousands of registrants! On Monday, January 28, the voting begins.

Anyone can Participate
All it takes to join to Big Shot Live is a valid U.S. zip code. Once you have entered your zip code or accessed the site via a local news station website (if you meet the age and other eligibility requirements), simply fill out the basic registration form and upload your video audition.

Wow, this sounds like a great idea. I wonder if it gets big if cbs will actually put it on network television along with it being online.

I'm sure there are going to be TONS of people making complete fools of themselves and I'd definately watch something like that!!

I think this sounds awesome. It's like Star Search for the new millenium. Has anyone entered yet? I think I might for singing. People get record deals off Youtube, why not get one from this?

That's awesome! I put my first video up yesterday. The only thing that's hard is you have to sing something original and I was hunting forever trying to find royalty free music. They have a site called either 65 music or 615 music or something and there's free music there. I ended up making up my own song and singing it. It was actually pretty good. What are you gonna do for modeling? I wish I could be a model.
