Wasnt Steven the one who was thrown out of his house by his mother when he was 11? He lived on the streets and eventually picked a drug habit. Dr. D tried to get him to talk to his mother about their past but she was not much help. I see him always fighting and putting down the women on this show and my guess is because of his childhood and he hates his mother!

Sean Young and 'Sugar' seem really compelling to me. The time with the horses moved me. I think we could all benefit from what Wyatt speaks about.

That may be a part of it, and I'm certainly no Amy fan, but Drew has to check that guy whatever his problem is.

I caught bits and pieces of the Steven episode. I can see the confrontation of Amy and her inability to identify (though realistically they have been in treatment and detoxed a very short time so I get it). However, he was well out of line with the shooting someone in the head comment. What's her nose should have escorted him all the way out the first time.

I recall that Steven had a stroke. If that's the truth I'm guessing he probably does have some brain injury from that event which limits his ability to control and moderate his emotions. Not that it's an excuse but then again Dr. Drew should have evaluated if this was the most appropriate treatment program for him with those special issues if that was the case. But I'm being silly again.

I was flipping channels, thought I would watch a few minutes, waiting to see Amy, did not realize for 5 minutes I was looking at her! Good Lord didn't recognize her. I remember a few years ago she was on Oprah, and she had surgery, but now she should send Casey Anthony to her surgeon!

I hope Dr. Drew does get thru to Steven that he cant be so abusive. Poor Sugar--I had no idea she was in such bad shape!I hope that they all get something out of this experience because they need it.

I understand the concept of group therapy, however there should be different groups according to level of severity. Steven should never be in a group with females.

This is Steven's 3rd stint in Celebrity Rehab. IMO he goes on these mean streaks with certain people as amusement. He's just trying to get attention. He's fine with some people. Dr. Drew needs to really put him in his place.

So caught up in the Stephen mess that I haven't mentioned how much Doc Gooden breaks my heart. There is something about the guy that has always seemed so broken and fragile. I hope he makes it this time (I hope they all do).

Back to Stephen, I agree he doesn't need to be in the group with females. He's made some downright hurtful cracks to Amy. The bullet in the head thing was bad enough because it's not his job to go digging through her past, but to throw in the vile porn oral sex crack was way too much. Then he's got his hands on Shelly after the history of how abusive he had been in the Sober House I just don't understand why they let him get away with this crap. He needs help, and I agree his stroke may be a part of his behaviors, but can Amy fairly get treatment with him constantly on her back? The last thing an addict needs is for someone to give them an excuse to play the victim, and Stephen, for now, is giving Amy and excuse.

Esp because I watched BOTH of them recently on TV.
Sean Young was on The Young & The Restless for close to 6 months as this evil woman. She did an amazing job as evil and I would have never known she had any kind of substance abuse.
Which takes me to Sugar, she was bascially a FAN favorite on her season of Survivor. She was sweet and kind and nice to everyone. She hung in there to almost the very end of the season before being voted off the island. Then she went back for the very next season of Survivor (All-Stars) but was the first one evicted. But, I would have never thought she was abusing drugs or alcohol at all. She just seemed like a real sweetheart with absolutely no mood swings due to drug use or (the lack-there-of) due to being Survivor.

Stephen is an idiot. He needs more than Celeb Rehab, he needs off the TV and into some isolated program where he does not have a camera he is performing to.
