Well I will say I posted "new season starts Thursday" on the Dr. Drew "Sex Rehab" thread and a poster explained that it was going to be a new season for "Celebrity Rehab" and she nicely linked this thread to me.

I do try and watch these shows. I think they can be educational but they are quite exploitative. I hope they are not representative of what Dr. Drew usually does. The lack of confidentiality practically destroys the program.

Sure, but remember, this is a TV SHOW! And the participants are paid to be on it. The participants don't expect any confidentiality, how could they? They know they're being watched every moment by cameras and millions of people. And it's meant to be entertaining. It's not like we're sitting and watching a private therapy session.

And having said all that, I agree that these shows are educational, and I also think that they have raised people's consciousness a bit, in the sense that people with similar types of addictive problems can identify with the participants, and perhaps see that things are not hopeless, that there is help of some kind available for them.

Considering the fact that Heidi Fleiss had a restraining order against Sizemore for domestic violence, I'd say this has disaster written all over it. Add MacKenzie Phillips, Kari Ann and Dennis Rodman to the mix and it's an official train wreck. The rest of cast will only make Lisa look normal.

I don't know if I will watch it, it will make me sad to see Joey still a mess.

I always felt bad for Lisa, as obnoxious as she was, because she was just so clueless.
