Anyone would be an idiot to use drugs after watching what drugs did to Jeff Conaway.Quote:

Jeff Conway is scary, his girlfriend should be banned from his life and I hope that the others see what is in their futures if they don't stop.
I think Brigitte and Seth have the best chances.
And as for Jamiee, her bigger issue than the physical addiction is her psychological addiction. She doesn't think that marijuana is so bad.yet she can't function day to day.
And I'm glad Daniel realizes he's not in the clear.
China Doll...? Why is she there? I also agree with the posters in re: to JC...wow...just so sad. He did say he was dropped on his back while in production for the movie GREASE...must have been his start and ultimate downfall with prescription drug abuse...did you see the # of prescriptions he had.... :wow Oh and ya, his GF has to gooooooooo!!! :nod
That is not the only reason JC has problems. On Celebrity Fit Club JC mentioned family problems, abuse was implied. Dr. Drew also implied other problems.Quote:

They have, crack addiction (Baldwin)
alcoholism (Mary & Bridgette)
Cocaine & alcohol addiction (Seth)
Jeff Conway - several but, seems to be pain killers big time.
So, maybe they wanted to show how awful addiction is in any drug form.
I saw a show about that girl (I forget her name) Jaimee
She IMO is a definate alcoholic - had to drink to perform in the porn movies and maybe she just traded one addiction for another.
I didn't plan on watching this. I started and couldn't shut it off.
I like Dr. Drew a lot.
I don't know if I'll keep tuning in. I have enough addiction in my family so I don't need to learn about it on a reality show.
I hope they all do well though. I didn't see the beginning, so not sure what China admitted to having a problem with. I would assume alcohol although I watched Surreal life and think she has more than addiction problems.
JMO.
Not quite sure how anyone could look forward to someone watching with amusement when it comes to withdrawal. I've seen it close up and it is not a pretty sight.
Also, a couple of my good friends work in the addiction field. They don't let people wander around in rehab messed up at these places. I found that disturbing. They have to be sober before they can get introduced into the community as to not "trigger" the other patients. So, there goes the t.v factor there.
Oh well, I hope they all get help.
I'll be watching this. For one, I LOVE Doctor Drew. Also, I think it's facinating tv. I knew Dr. Drew had a show on Discovery Health (Strictly Dr. Drew, i think) and I watched that too. I'll have to listen to LoveLine more and see if he makes any mention of the show on it. I know he had a few months ago, I think when Jessica Sierra had another relapse.
Can someone give a short synopsis of who these "celebs" are? I tuned in the other day and didn't know who the two blonde girls were--the youngish ones. I know what Brigitte Nielsen looks like.
These are the people I recognized:
Jeff Conaway
The Baldwin brother who's not Alec, Billy or Stephen
Chyna Doll
Brigitte Nielsen
Who else is there? The singer was in that one-hit wonder band...
Mary Carey, the older of the blondes you don't recognize, is a pornstar and party girl. I feel like they show her on TMZ alot.Quote:

Jaime Foxx, the girl "addicted" to pot, was the younger sister on Family Matters, but disappeared without any explanation after one or two seasons.
Seth...something, also called "Shifty" (gee, wonder why) was in the band that sang "butterfly" or something. Crazytown was the name of the band.
Hope this helps
Mary Carey also ran for governor of California...along with Gary Coleman and many other wackos!
I watched this with my teenage daughters (one freshman high school & freshman college). The program helped to show them what drug/alcohol abuse can do to a person.Quote:

I do feel guilty watching this also:( ...it is like seeing someone fully exposed and at their most vulnerable moments, however, if this program helps one person go to rehab or re-think their drug/alcohol usage-then it is totally worth it.
