I agree with everything said so far, just wanted to add a couple of comments...

Chyna - What is up with her?? She seems to be solidly separated from her family. I wonder what happened with her sister to make her so averse to even the possibility of reconciling with her. It seems like if they had abusive parents, maybe talking about it together could be cathartic??? If she really does have a substance abuse problem she seems to be in complete denial about it. When that guy on the show brought up an an incident where she interrupted his show, she seemed completely apathetic about it... Whether or not she is an addict, she obviously has issues that she should come to terms with. On a side note, she really looks much better without make-up on.

The guy from Crazytown - Sorry, I don't remember his name. His son is adorable. Whether or not things work out with hi and his wife, I really hope he stays clean and healthy for his son - they obviously love each other and have a great bond.

That guy = Barry Williams aka Greg Brady of the Brady Bunch Show...I believe he was there for Jeff. Yes, Chyna seemed very embarassed when Barry mentioned how she embarassed him on stage in Vegas. Chyna does seem lost and lonely on the show...no one comes to see her, no one calls her... I was watching a rerun on Chris and Adrienne's wedding (My Fair Brady) and saw Chyna sitting in the congregation at their Mass. I was not sure who she was there for OR was it for both of them....

I agree Seth's son, HALO, is adorable. I saw Seth on a recent Entertainment Show and he was staying sober.

Chyna. There are lots of people who are cut off from their families. It is sad she had no friends to come but she may not have asked or wanted that. Just because she is quiet about herself doesn't mean she is not doing the work or whatever they call it. Perhaps she would open to Drew more without a camera in her face. Even though she is familiar with being in front of crowd and on camera doesn't mean she wants to share deeply for it.

I found this episode with the families to be very touching. I guess I'm falling for all the producer's tricks.

I really like Mary's interactions with her mom. She seemed so kind and patient with her. It would be really difficult to grow up with a mom with such a severe psychiatric condition like schizophrenia. Mary seems like such a sweet, vulnerable person. Not at all like the jaded, bitter porn star that I was expecting.

Chyna just seems oblivious to everything. She doesn't seem to be making any personal progress at all. If she's not an addict, she must have some sort of psychiatric problem in my opinion. She seems so not present. Not dumb, but just not in her own head when people are talking to her.

I have to agree with everyone about Seth's son Halo. He is just adorable. And Seth's wife seems to have a good head on her shoulders, I hope Seth can stay sober and be a good family man. They really deserve it.

When I first heard the concept of this show I thought for sure it was going to be exploitive and had no interest in watching. It's not. This is becoming a favorite of mine.

Although Joanie seems to be denying being a drug or alcohol addict (or having ever used steroids), I seem to remember something. In the previews for this show before it ever started, does anybody else remember a shot where she says clearly that she was "definitely a pill popper" or something like that? I'm sure she said something like that. Maybe it's just taking her a while to open up?

My brother remembers her from wrestling days and says he is almost sure she was on steroids....he said she was so big that she could not have got that way from anything else, not even exercise. I dunno....

I too thought it was odd he was there. I suppose he's hoping for his own Brady reality show.
