1 hour show tomorrow, 2 hours on Wed. and 1 on Thurs.
Tonight it was from 8-10 EST, bama. I would think it might be that way tomorrow, too. Wednesday and Thursday they should be able to cut it to an hour.Originally Posted by bbnbama;2726131;

Tomorrow is the finale for Biggest Loser, so it's only 1 hour tomorrow.
Oh, I had forgotten that it was on the same channel. Oops! LOL

Broadway ITA with your assessment of Team LaBelle...I just don't like that style of singing either. My teams areOriginally Posted by Broadway;2726125;
1 Team Lachey...great song choice for me...they just touched and moved me and made me want to sing and dance
2 Team Shelton....loved their incredible energy, I wanted to sing and dance, and they inspired me...loved, loved Blake too. I think I have a crush..he is a doll and refreshingly funny
3. Team Rowland...they were great...loved it all
4. Team LaBelle....Just can't really get into all that shouting, never been my type of I,I ing music...just stop I,I ing and shouting and sing out the actual words, but I am sure with her name they will win on her name alone
5. Team Boulton....lacklustre and not as much energy as the others. JMHO
But I loved the whole premise of this show, was enchanted and captured right away.....and can't wait to see more. Wish they would have had more choirs, and to me this is much more enjoyable then Dancing With the Stars...and I love that these people are doing all of this for charity. LOVE IT
Thanks

Loved Shelton and Labelle!
1. Shelton. Loved his lead singer. I was impressed that he did this all by himself with no experience in choirs or groups at all. Excellent! I have never seen or heard of this guy before and he sucked me in. What an adorable man!
2. Lachey. I love the song, well done.
3. Rowland. Had me swaying. Good job.
Bolton. It was nice if experienced alone outside of a competition but the others far exceeded them.
Labelle. I don't care for Gospel. In the shouting, often screaming, you lost all sense of the song. It is very moving and sweet piece of music with a specific tone and mood but she turned it into something totally different. The melody was barely there most of the time. You can take any song and tart it up with this frantic style but does that make it good? Not for me.
Loved, loved, loved Philly. They seem to have the best balance of soloists and folks who can sing tight harmony. Can't wait to hear what they do with the Christmas carol.
- big gap
Lahey and Rowland
- bigger gap
Bolton and Shelton
Every choir has good singers. The difference to my ears is song selection, the quality of the arrangements and the enthusiasm brought to the performance.
I thought the music of Patti LaBelle was the bomb! I loved the arrangment, I loved the vitality! I also enjoyed the others, but in my opinion, Patti's was the best. I will be enjoying this show.
