Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US)

Ummm you guys read too much into something which is not there. Holly's shooting joke was just a joke, its not like she actually going to grab a gun and stop rampaging on the studio shooting them. It was more affirmation that she did it, and she beat each one of them.

Also if personality means being a nasty, vindictive horrible person then I'm glad Holly doesn't have one. Its important somewhat but a model's job is to wear the clothes and rock them, Naomi Campbell is a bitch and she in her hey day got booked. Plus from the go sees its pretty obvious they loved her.

Anyway I feel sorry for Ben's wife and it must have felt pretty bad when Ronnie was saying how beautiful Armanda was in front of her, when Holly was earlier saying how gorgeous her fiance was. Ben of course said nothing of the sort...hmmmm.

Perry just sounds so freaking desperate: "Do you love me Amanda? Do you want to be with me Amanda? Say that you love me. Say that you want to be with me." (Repeat rapid fire, ad nauseum...)

Ben looked totally disinterested in his wife, who kept her composure pretty well but who must have been dying inside. Ben's remarks about how gorgeous Jessica Stamm is and his inviting her over for a drink did him in for me.

I never thought that the real premise of the show was to pick a supermodel. It was more of a "Big Brother" type thing. They put a bunch of young, good looking (more important, people who thought they were good looking) in a home together and then fanned the flames. The model part of it gave Bravo excuses to dress them up in sexy clothing and put them in pretty odd situations that they never would be in if not "modeling". I feel that Ronnie was told to run with the Ben thing. I don't think that in real life he would go for a straight, married, dumb, hillbilly prison guard. There were much better looking guys on the show that would have been more his type. Ben didn't make it to the end by accident (along with Ronnie). Bravo wanted them both there so we could all see Ben's marriage fall apart. Hey, it worked, I watched and I hated this show.
When you've got a body like Ben's, you put an encyclopedia over his head and ____ for knowledge

Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US)

Since America picked the winner, I think Holly will have a good chance of having a successful modeling career. If a guy had won, I don't think he would have had a chance of much success. There's just not a lot of guy modeling work out there, not a lot of guy fashion shows.

Jessica Stam comes across much more beautiful on t.v. than in print or fashion show videos.

I don't care whether or not Holly's fiance has seen her completely naked. Many gals are lights off people. And we don't care whether she is a virgin or not. I didn't vote just because the people I vote for on this show haven't made it. I would have voted for her though.

Those boys sure were full of themselves. Hee, hee. Ben's wife needs to unload him and get herself a real husband. Anybody who wants Perry deserves him.

I completely agree with everything you said! Perry...oh my god...he was totally groveling at her feet. That whole relationship looks like she likes to play games with his head & he takes the bait every time. She acts like she's doing him a favor or something by being with him. I hope he wakes up & sees her for the using, conniving bi+ch that she is.

Poor Ben's wife...I don't even know what to say. I feel badly for her.

Remember Perry is an 'actor', for me the entire scenes looked staged and fake, well like bad acting really.

Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US)

Meanwhile Ben showed us that he'll never be an actor. I had to turn the sound down while Perry was going on about love etc.. that was so uncomfortable.

Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US)

Ben's reaction to his wife's appearance was, to me . . .

Ewwwwww . . .

I mean, come on . . . "Whussuuuuup?" Maybe that's the way they communicate on a regular basis, but I was NOT impressed.

He DID hug her, but, this ain't no homey at the door, you idiot, this is your WIFE . . . That you supposedly LOVE. I'm with Holly. If that'd been MY husband and he greeted me at the door like that after not seeing me for three months, I'd've slapped his ass, too.

Like a lot of other posters, I think their "relationship" is probably dead in the water. I think, in his mind, Ben had already left her behind (at least mentally) when he was on the reunion show talking about how he felt that New York was the place for him, now. Based on that and everything else they showed him saying about building a modeling career and factoring his wife into that, I was thinking then: "Uh-oh. Divorce on the way!"

As for Perry and Amanda . . .

Apparently, he does not have even two brain cells to rub together.

And Amanda? She's so full of it you can smell her before you see her coming. Either you DID something, or you didn't. Even with cameras around (which you knew would be around before you showed up), if you DIDN'T, just SAY so. The two of you can get into a brain-picking throwdown later on away from the cameras about the details of what went down, but if you're NOT guilty of doing something shady, why not say it? ESPECIALLY on camera?

I don't think I'd want to be around when Perry finds out all the details of what she said in other "press" about the situation.

And if he keeps her after that, he abolutely DESERVES whatever he gets.

Me? I'd've probably slammed the door in her face after I opened it and saw her standing there, I think.

Stephanie's signed to New York Model Management!

She definitely should have made it farther on the show.

I'm so glad she got signed and with NY Model Management. She deserves it.

Hopefully Casey, Jackie, Aryn and Shannon will follow.
