| Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US) Did anyone else catch the reunion? I enjoyed it. A standout moment for me was towards the end, when they had that short little montage of how Holly is a country girl. And another standout moment would be when the host read the questions to the models, and one of the questions to Jacki was, "Do you think you got eliminated because you were a bitch?" I laughed, but I couldn't believe that the guy flatout called her a bitch. ![]() I really hope Holly wins. If she doesn't, then oh well. Judging from the preview, it seems that the winner has already been crowned. I wonder if any spoilers will pop out. Oh, the preview also showed that loved ones will be coming to the house. Perry's girlfriend (or ex-girlfriend) is coming to the house. That's going to be interesting.

| Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US) im sorry but are you watching the same competition as everyone else??...clearly you can see Holly is more versatile than Ben,Ronnie & Perry put together...ummm her portfolio and catwalk all tell a story and proves my point...i think this is what everyone else was saying when they said "Holly isnt going to win because mostly girls watch and they get sucked in by the guys beauty." lol

Perry probably has the best "personality" (i.e. drive & focus) for the business, but he's not a catalog model. And his walk sucks. Don't even get me started on Ronnie. He's a terrible model. | |

| Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US) Okay...IMHO, that was one of the worst "reunion" shows I've ever seen. First, there was the "Andy Cohen" factor. He of the lazy (and beady) eye. The guy may have some good ideas about programming (Project Runway, for example), but could someone please get him off my tv set stat?! I can hardly look at him. Of course, his seeming smugness also adds to "ick" factor for me. Second, it took us about 40 minutes to actually get into some new and interesting information (how people's relationships fared after they went home). In fact, most of the first 15 minutes of the show were spent dwelling on "Bronnie". Montage of Ben/Ronnie's great "bromance" moments. Questions about their feelings for each other. Presentation of twin "Bronnie" t shirts made up for them by Bravo. More questions: "So Ben, would you really do him if you had a few drinks?" "Would you do him on a boat, would you do him in a moat? Would you do him here or there, would you do him anywhere?" Okay, no one asked Ben those last two questions. But given a few more minutes, I'm sure they would have. Then we spent another few revisiting clips showing when people were voted off and how sad or embarrassed or angry they were... Next we killed some time revisiting footage of people in the house bad-mouthing other people in the house (because we didn't see enough of that already). I don't think there was much (or any) stuff we hadn't already seen. Oh, and did I mention they showed Jackie's "look, I can fart on demand" moment? What kind of reunion show would it have been without showing that? The episode was sprinkled with questions about relationships, mostly designed to be titillating: "Perry/Stephanie, were you guys into each other?" "Perry, how about when you found out about your girlfriend?" "Did anyone's relationship crater after this show?" You're probably wondering if I'm actually talking about MMAS right now, as opposed to one of those reality shows on VH1 or MTV. Nope, I'm talking about MMAS. On Bravo, the channel that aspires to rise above the ordinary. Or used to. During the last 20 minutes of the show, there were a couple of interesting moments, like asking Tyson or what's-her-name who they thought had grown the most. And they brought out the agent from NY Models, and Jennifer (or is it Debra), who said a few words. And they asked the non-final-four who they thought should win. Somewhere along the way, Tyson said that the guys did better overall in part because *he* worked with them a lot. He said it in a way that implied (to me, anyway) that Nikki had not likewise worked with the girls, and therefore... Nikki's face in response was priceless. I'm trying to remember what she said. I'm drawing a blank. I think it may have been something like, "Well, well... you did favor Perry! So there." (which everyone had been saying). Other than Dominic--who obviously reads blogs and forums, because he said that Ben and Ronnie probably stayed longer than they should have, because people liked to see their "relationship" from week to week--no one suggested that the guys might have outlasted the girls simply because the Bravo viewing demographic was probably more inclined to favor male eye candy over female eye candy. Tyson allowed as how all the models were now his brothers and sisters, and they could call him whenever. Ooh, I want to see that. And Nikki then piped up, in a sort of don't-ever-think-about-calling-me way, "Oh, right, me, too. You can call me, too. Any time." Those of you who missed the show--not that you missed much--are probably wondering if the models were asked things like:
Nope. Other than Ben saying he wanted to move to NYC, none of these model-related questions came up. Because Bravo knew you wouldn't really care about these things. And that was pretty much it. I will give this show a grade of D. D for dumb. Or dumbed down. Whatever. |

| Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US) I thought the reunion show focused too much on 'Bronnie' and yeah, Tyson you favored the guys more than the girls. Nikki even thought so. I can't understand why people say Holly doesn't have a personality, just because she wasn't arrogant, conceited and bitchy doesn't mean she doesn't have a personality. I hope she wins. Next week looks good. I can't wait to see how Ben greets his wife and explains his behavior with Ronnie. I feel sorry for his wife, can you imagine watching week and week your husband mooning over a guy? And Ben is so selfish. Every question they asked him about his future starting with an "I" am moving to NYC. "I" want to do this. I predict his marriage isn't going to last long. |

| Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US) This is going to sound mean and it's not intended that way. How much personality does a model need? Okay, supermodel, whatever. The cold truth is the day of the supermodel is probably over. Magazines are focusing on actors now and that's not bad, it is. I know very little about Giselle and her personality. I don't care. She looks good in pictures. Holly looks good in pictures. Tyson is a hottie. Just gorgeous, but he's not exactly loaded with personality. He comes off as very flat on television. I think all this personality stuff is a red herring. Can you take amazing pictures? Fine. Can you work it on a runway walk and look, "fierce?" Good. Can you be commercial enough to flash your pearlies for Max Factor? Hired.

| Re: Make Me A Supermodel (US) I seriously doubt that NCAA basketball and MMAS share the same audiences. I suspect they wanted one more week of MMAS to push the key episodes of SIUAD into May sweeps. |
