I honestly think Ronnie is WAY overrated, he's way too commercial, he's basically a Ken doll...and i just dont get it, Shannon definitely has the edge on Ronnie in my honest opinion as far as modeling goes.

I voted for Shannon as much times as I could. I really would not like to see her go.

But even though Shannon was nominated for elimination, I was happy to see Holly win this week (it's her third win! ).

I voted for Ronnie. I like him and Shannon the most though. I don't understand the critique on Ronnie sometimes. He has proved that his look can be more than just all-american several times. Shannon rules too - but I think she is only a editorial model -- and it isn't like she'll have a huge career with that. Seriously. Like this show is going to turn out a real supermodel.

I usually don't believe tabloids, but based on Perry's girlfriend's crappy attitude and the horrible way she talked to him, I almost wonder if she wouldn't have cheated on him. He definitely seems way more into her than she is to him. Anyway, I hope Shannon stays. She really has much more potential, though I almost fear she will go for the simple fact she seemed pretty unlikable this episode.

Shannon was not given an even playing field in the cemetary. Aside from her look being Halloween to Holly's avante garde freak, she was asked to play dead/dying. Just how much can you do lying on the ground? Her face was even turned away from the camera. In the shot with the three of them walking she was overwhelmed by her hideous wig and top hat. Holly was given a choice opportunity to act the part.

As far as the runway scene I didn't think Holly did well, at all. I was surprised that they didn't call her on overacting, poor posture (they did later, sort of) and forgetting about selling the clothes. I don't think Shannon did well either. The entire thing was bad but for the others to criticize Shannon for stepping up to choreograph it was childish for those who got all huffy puffy. If you don't like it then speak up instead of griping to the camera in a diary talk.

No one realizes that this is an individual competition and their only enemy is themselves. It is not men vs women! What are these guys thinking? Just stay out of the bottom two by doing your best. sheeeeesh.

Perry's relationship strife is downright silly. Neither of them are into each other; it is all drama.

I loved the judge commenting that Holly should show her pictures before she opens her mouth! Very funny, her voice is terrible. A few hours with a diction coach would be helpful.

This will be a Holly/Perry final two. Ronnie will go this week, I hope. Nice kid but I was disappointed that he bad mouthed Shannon about the shoot. It was unnecessary.

Who is Perry's girlfriend? Is she someone famous?
I was glad Holly won again. I hope Shannon doesn't get voted off. And why is Ben still there? I don't see the appeal with this guy. I hope we have a Holly/Shannon showdown at the end because I would be OK with either of them winning it.

Nevertheless, I imagine he has a much bigger fan base among the viewing audience than Shannon, and he will stick around. I mean, look at Ben last week--poor modeling, poor attitude, offensive comments, and he still was safe. The only way they're going to get rid of Ben is to put him up against Holly, I'm starting to think. I'd absolutely love it if Benjaya was in the final two, but I think someone on the MMMAS staff will make sure that doesn't happen.

And I'm really over this voting thing. Imagine Project Runway or Top Chef having viewers call in to vote for which contestants stay/go! Please.

Anyway, on to the Perry/Amanda stuff. I could be wrong but here's what I think:

TPTB might have been able to keep the contestants occupied enough that Perry wouldn't have found out for another week or so (which would place us near the end of the series). But I think that instead, TPTB saw the opportunity for drama and went for it.

I think they called Amanda and urged her to call Perry (but maybe also told her she could only talk to him for a minute, because God forbid she actually be able to say enough to pacify him for the time being). Then I think Tyson was charged with going to Perry and showing him the tabloid under the pretense that "I just wanted you to hear it from me before you hear it from someone else". I thought Tyson definitely looked like he really didn't want to be there saying that. He's not a very good actor. But, he was a man on a mission, AFAIC. And he certainly reinforced Perry's thought that the story must be true. ("Well, you know if it's your house, so if you say it is...") Although Tyson said it *was* a tabloid, I didn't really hear him say anything to make Perry think that the story might have been blown way out of proportion. Tyson could have said "Well, we don't know what really happened, so just chill out for now." But then that would have defeated Bravo's purpose, IMHO. Way to work an opportunity, Bravo!

"Just for next week, there will only be a bottom 2." What does that mean? That we're reaching the finale and there is no more voting? I love how they make up these rules on the fly.

As for Ben: I wish we saw more footage, because I think Ben delivers the same look each time, much like the criticism they had of Perry. But the judges said he showed more range of expression this week. I guess I missed that part.

And okay, Ben had a shoot this week that *worked* for someone who is stiff. But just because he lucked into a shoot that was not hurt by his stiffness, does that really mean he's improving? I'm confused, honestly.

I still love Holly and would like to see her win. Also, although I hated Shannon at first, with her strangely elongated limbs and weird face, I've changed my tune. I like her business-like attitude, even if it was kind of missing this week. And her face can telegraph very young or very old, depending on the clothing and makeup. I just find that remarkable, when I look at her. Her height might be problematic in some situations, but I really think her face makes her very versatile.

ETA: Didn't Perry's girlfriend call earlier in the series, accusing Perry of being with some other girl? The plot thickens.

The real models (Shannon, Holly, Perry, and Ronnie) already have enough screen time and have accumulated decent enough portfolios to get signed. Someone will snap Ronnie up as a spokesperson for a line, Shannon will do runway and editorial in New York or Hong Kong, Holly will do runway and commercial in New York or Milan, and Perry will get lots of West Coast work and possibly a minor role in a soap. Will any be a "supermodel?" No, because they're all too old.

I saw a new show on TV last week that was about scamming the Paparazzi. The moment I saw it I wondered if the Perry's girlfriend/Adnan thing was part of it. Otherwise, why the odd phone call??
