That dog scene was totally staged (just like all the rest of their episodes). I wonder what it would have cost a 'real person' to have had their dog undergo surgery and a lot of special care at the animal hospital? The camera carefully showed the name of the hospital more than once, so you know treatment was free.
Apparently some people - like Rob - are so anxious to be on TV that they will allow themselves to be portrayed as totally lazy and unwilling to look for a job unless pushed to the max. If that were true for me, I would be embarrased for anyone to know that I had to be pushed and pulled to look for a job. Absolutely no way I would want my friends to see that on TV.

    It would cost thousands, literally.
    Been there, done that.

I totally think that was all scripted. I don't believe Kim even found a dog - the dog probably was `hired' and had a trainer standing just off-camera giving it cues. I do like that they mentioned adopting pets from shelters, but the whole thing was fake. As for the cost, it probably would have run at least $1,000 with extended care for the dog. I had a cat that cost me $2,000 in a span of two weeks at the vet (kidney failure). (yes I know that seems ridiculous to many, but she was my `baby'.)

Is ANYTHING that happens on this show real anymore? I'm not convinced that it is.

Doesn't seem ridiculous to me at all.

Nor to me, either, as per my post above.

Re: Keeping Up With the Kardashians

Sorry everyone, but they really got busted on this.
As far as I can tell, every episode this season has been FAKE! including the season opener wedding-(the marriage license wasn't legal 'till months later due to pre-nuptial contracts).
    And the Rob/Viagra????
But this storyline caused people to actually call the vet's office that was featured on the show, (to find-out if the dog lived or died), and people who called the vet were told that the entire story was fake. F-A-K-E!
The dog apparently belongs to an "E" staff-person, and was not as sick as they made it out to be in the first place.
PLUS--other fans have noted that Kim and Reggie share a dog together, so the whole feeding a dog cookies, not knowing anything about having a dog, is not true either.
I can tell that these people are on the verge of cracking-up when they deliver their lines, especially mama who likes to chime-in with total BS.
"Some women are sensitive when they have a miscarriage." Oh really?????
Not that her daughter really was having a miscarriage, she's probably on the pill, or maybe even a man-who knows but whatever they say seems to be lie, so you kind-of have to play the "opposite game" to figure-out what's what.
Its all fake, just like their faces and bodies. Fake-fake-fake.
And what they don't fake, they photo-shop.
Their make-up artist has just come-out with a line of eyelashes, called, "Smoke & Mirrors", if you even need a clue.
Speaking-of the make-up artist, I wasn't surprised to see that he is the magician behind a LOT of reality actors. Including Kim Z. from Housewives of Atlanta.
His work is stunning, and I really think he should be given an Emmy for all of the faces he's done lately.

I was very sorry to see at the end of last night's episode that it was dedicated to the cancer victim who wanted to watch Kim fight.
Appears she lost her fight with cancer.

I was really sorry to see that, too. I'm guessing they filmed that episode last summer, so it seems Carol Ann only had a few months to live at that time. So sad.

Yes, that was horrible to hear. Poor thing. I thought it was out of Kim's normal character to go ahead with the boxing after seeing what happened during Robs match. Love ya Bruce....but what a horrible idea!!!

Re: Keeping Up With the Kardashians

im pretty sure like with every episode that this was fake, they probably got a fake bidder to bid on Kim...then again, maybe not...either way it was very sad with Carol Ann and if Kim really did go on with the fight just for Carol Ann then that was very honorable.

i was hoping it was Scott that got the beat down than Rob, but yeah...what a terrible idea, Charity events and violence are never a good match...

Bravo, Kourtney! Thanks for your honesty.

Kourtney Kardashian: OK! Photoshopped My Post-Baby Body (PHOTOS)
    First Posted: 01-25-10 01:21 PM | Updated: 01-27-10 12:12 PM

OK! hawks "Kourtney's Body After Baby Exclusive" on its cover--but Kourtney Kardashian says she never spoke to the magazine or posed for the heavily Photoshopped photo.

"One of those weeklies got it wrong again...they didn't have an exclusive with me. And I gained 40 pounds while pregs, not 26...But thanks!," she tweeted.

As the side-by-side photos show, OK! lopped off Kourtney's stomach and replaced her face with a slimmer one to illustrate her speedy weight loss.

"They doctored and Photoshopped my body to make it look like I have already lost all the weight, which I have not," she told WWD.

The cover photo was taken just seven days after Mason's December 14 birth and first appeared as part of the January 11 issue of Life & Style, WWD reports. OK! has declined to comment.
