It's been airing at various times over the week so I watched it again today and have to say there were at least four of the boat challenge dresses that impressed me greatly too.
Incredible to actually be able to create something that looked finished and even polished in some cases with the materials they were given.

I'm so impressed with the standard and really hope the whole season will live up to the start.

I love Iman's catchphrase too, "you just don't measure up".
    Perfect.
I'm really enthusiastic about this season already and can't wait for the next episode.

I happened to catch it last night flipping through for something to watch and boy I'm glad I did. I absolutely love that the dresses made, well many, were actually wearable. They were fashion mixed with real-world wear. I love that! PR doesn't seem to do that as much or with the same level of quality.

Love the show so far, I think I'm going to enjoy it more than the American version. Looking forward to tonight's episode.

On a trip to the park, a mass of lost and broken umbrellas is revealed as the challenge fabric. The designers race to choose the best of the broken umbrellas to create a cocktail dress. The twist is that the designers must utilize all of the fabric from the umbrellas they have chosen.

Faced with the challenge of creating a new look for a Bratz doll, the designers go to a party to consult with the "experts": 12-year-old girls!

Umbrellas? I like the show is trying to be innovative and challenging but come on. Let them buy their own fabric and materials and make what they want to make already.

Actually I really liked this episode, but that was a crazy elimination.

    Lincoln
should never have been eliminated over
    Megan
but I think the decision was for the sake of drama - which person was more dramatic on camera, which designer was more likely to have a major breakdown and garner ratings. And hey, whatever, as long as they make the next episode more interesting I guess but I still think [spoiler] Lincoln [/spolier] had a lot more to offer.

From best to worst as I saw it this episode I liked:

    1. Carlie's - really elegant, looked chic and expensive and well made
    2. Shernett's - this girl has some serious skills and the shape of her dress was wonderful
    3. Stephen's - I loved that dress, the side panel was delicious
    4. Kendra's - very cute and I did think it looked modern and interesting
    5. Lucian's - I thought it was a more toned down example of his style but it was for a cocktail dress and not a gown so... but it was good
    6. Michael's - nice but lacked a bit of personality
    7. Sophia's - a bit too busy and the missing panel/cut out was lost under all that fabric but was actually the selling point of that garment

I wasn't too thrilled with Megan's, Lincoln's, Marie G's (though I liked the materials she used and didn't hate it, but it wasn't tailored well) and Biddell's dresses, but definately the worst was

Oops. You missed a spoiler tag. But no biggie. I want to see the clothes mostly. I will just have my outrage all ready for this ep when I watch it on Youtube.
