Thanks for the pics, funky. A couple of those white dresses were really nice. Some of the runway ones were fun, too.

And a couple were duds ... at least from the small photos I saw.

    Which were your favs?

Yeah, it was amazing that they could use someone else's clothes from their suitcases to re-create these dresses. I have to say I liked Lucian's dress, particularly the sleeves. I did, however, shudder a bit when he put that thing in the model's hair. What was that!!

And the mentor? Well, he was pretty good, a little bitchy, but he could stand to lose the circa-70s-porn-star 'stache.

Heehee, I kinda like the 70s porn stache, it's so sleazy! You are so right about the hair thing when I saw Lucian pull that out I was like, uh oh, toss that quick!

Allie, for the boat challenge I thought Lucian's and Marie Genevieve's dresses were remarkable, and so many of the others while not increadible were so good considering that they only put 30 mins into them. Looking back I also think Carlie's outfit was very very well executed and this girl seems like a perfectionist with true skills.

For the runway challenge, I really liked Marie Genevieve's dress, it moved beautifully. Also Lucian's was really lovely, definately over the top but I liked it and it was a true reflection of his point of view. Also Lincoln's and Shernett's and Carlie's were really well made so I liked theirs quite a bit. I really hope Marie Genevieve can keep up the good work because I'm pleasantly surprised with what she's done thus far.

I loved the back view of Marie's white dress and the neckline and flow of Lucian's.

As for the suitcase challenge, while I can't speak for movement, I liked Shernette's and LIncoln's efforts. I liked the front view of Carlie's but not the side pic.

As soon as Marie's model turned the corner onto the catwalk my husband said "you'd wear that".
I thought her dress was fantastic.

I agree that many of the boat challenge dresses were excellent, particularly considering how little time and what materials they had to work with.
This season has started off on a very high note, imo.

It really has. In comparison to some of the stuff we've seen in the first two challenges on PR, PRC has succeeded in drawing attention to well made outfits that are wearable!
