Jeff really has a problem knowing what is proper or not as far as saying things when. Even Jenni said something about the Client being uncomfortable. Does anyone think that this show is so scripted or is Jeff REALLY being Jeff?

I posted above that I sort of give Jeff the benefit of the doubt in terms of his support for his staff. However, as the finale went on, I did pick up on some distance between him and Jenni in a sort of big way.
I hope I was misreading things and that he appreciates what Jenni has done for him. He would never have reached the level of popularity he has without her. I do think he gets genuine enjoyment from her, so who knows.
After reading what you wrote here, it dawned on me that you're right. I think Jeff is "punishing" Jenni because she's in the process of "leaving him," at least in his mind. She's not working as much as she pursues her acting. He's grooming Sara to take Jenni's place, but he knows Sara will never be as good as Jenni (she is kind of a doofus) and that explains why he "dangled" the NY trip in front of her for so long.Quote:

So it makes sense that you saw a distance between them. Jenni also doesn't fight back with him anymore. She just gives him that stare.
I too see he distance between he a Jenni. I think he has so many insecuritites that he worried about failing without her. She really is "glue" that kind of keeps him together.
I would really hate to see her gone from the show completely. I love her metaphors.
While that whole scene at the restaurant with the god awful client was way outta control, there were other parts of that particular show that presented a more open and confident Trace. I would really like to see them show more of his design skill. Maybe they will next season since he's out of school now.
Does Jenni have any acting jobs in the works?
I wonder if Sara ever watches herself on TV? She can't possibly think she looks good in those tight pants.
And then there is her constant, annoying gum chewing - her jaws never stop moving. IMO chewing gum is so very unprofessional in the workplace. But since she is Jeff's relative, she probably gets away with a lot.
OMG...I thought I was the only one who was thinking the same thing!Quote:

There is a butter commercial that I have seen a few times. Of course I can't remember the name of the butter but, I think it may be Jenni. I might just want it to be her LOL. She is in a red dress dancing and singing with the butter in her hands. Has anyone else seen this?
Yes, but that was Megan Mullally from Will & Grace. :D Which is very, VERY close to being Jenni! :lol
