Re: Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County

I can appreciate this show because these kids don't come out as outright vicious as seasons prior. Chrissy seems genuinely sweet which is refreshing.

Re: Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County

I actually really enjoyed the show. Newport isn't as picturesque as Laguna, but the atmosphere is so interesting. There are so many houses in Newport that have boat docks that it would amaze anyone who hasn't been there. The kids are actually richer than the Laguna kids, but they don't seem as spoiled. I only wish they'd played more on the city (Balboa Island, the piers, etc.) than they did. That might have made more people enjoy it.

I still hope to see season 5 (2 of NH), but with the general reaction, I don't know.

Re: Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County

The show returned last night for a home for the holidays 4 episode run.
Chrissy has been stepping out on Clay with some guy at college, and Chase is dating one of her sorority sisters.
I'd like to see Clay and Taylor get together.

Re: Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County

Does Chrissy remind anyone else of Audrina from the Hills? Not so much in looks as in the monotone, blank, slightly airhead-esque demeanor?

Re: Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County

I am really enjoying the home for the holidays shows. I have been watching them more regularly than the regular season. The drama seems to be more present with the whole Chrissy/Clay/Funny looking Billy love triangle.

Re: Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County

I was excited when I saw the new episodes on a couple weeks ago. Does this mean there will be another season next summer?
