| Re: Design Star - Season 2 Yeah seeing the wiring hanging out, I think it might even be something to do with HGTV lighting. Sometimes on these kind of shows, we can see the extra lighting that has to be put into place in order for the show to be filmed. I don't think it was anything that Kim forgot to correct. |

| Re: Design Star - Season 2 AGh......... I hope I am wrong, but in the previews it appears that Todd wins..... Vern says, 'You are the HGTV Design Star' and Todd starts jumping around..... I really hope I am wrong...... I hope the previews are deceptive.... I don't mind Todd, he is a talented artist.... but to me none of his designs are practical....... I sure would not let him loose in my home... maybe if I had a teenage boy.......... Good Luck Kim........ I voted for you.

| Re: Design Star - Season 2 Kim outdid Todd by a landslide! Todd designs for himself, Kim designs with the client in mind. Todd hosting is frantic. He speaks too fast! Kim is much more calm and easier to understand. I would love to see a show with Kim and Will. Will is a class act.Robb is a class A**! Todds room was confusing. The layout was weird to me. Kim nailed her room! I voted for Kim! ![]() |

| Re: Design Star - Season 2 I don't see how Todd could have won since voting is going on until Wed unless the whole thing is rigged and our voting doesn't matter? I voted for Kim too and plan on voting for her each day online because I cannot stand Todd and would have voted for anybody other than him (even though she did slaughter him in both design and presentation). Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks Todd's presentation style is just too frantic. When he started screaming yesterday at the end of the competition, I seriously wanted to slap him to get him to stop it and shut up already. What an annoying individual. Thanks for posting the link, Nemesis, I can never figure out what links are allowed and which aren't so I just don't post any (call me scared lol). |

| Re: Design Star - Season 2 Yeah I think that clip of the winner was actually taken from last year's finale. The one with the audience clapping and the confetti cascading down on the winner. If the winner was already chosen, why are we voting? I think all the previews they showed last night of Todd jumping up and down, running around and making his surfer dude hand gestures are just clips of Todd being Todd throughout this season of Design Star. If he does win, I don't think I could watch a show. Unless he was on Adderall or Ritalin or something! |

| Re: Design Star - Season 2 I voted for Kim. I'd actually stay in her suite. Todd's reminded me of an upscale travel trailer with the bed adjacent to the kitchen. |

| Re: Design Star - Season 2 OK, exactly how old is Todd's son? He looks old! Don't know if the wine they were drinking was alcoholic or not. Todd's finished room could wear thin on you pretty fast, I would think. I could see wanting to repaint before too long. I think it's pretty cheesy of them to allow 5 votes/day by cellphone, but only one vote/day on the website. Shame on them.

| Re: Design Star - Season 2 I thought Kim did a much better job. It's not that Todd's design was so horrible (other than the bed placement which I hated but my husband kind of liked) but that it was for a kid. It's not somewhere I think an upscale client would want to stay. While the idea was not Kim's the final result of that floor was great. Both MrC and I thought it made it look more home-like and not so hotel-like. I liked most of Kim's choices. I did like the color of the bedroom, but not in conjunction with the rest of the suite. I hoped it's better in person. All my votes are going for Kim. |

| Re: Design Star - Season 2 If that's the case and you connect via DHCP, a little digging should allow you to find and delete the TLC.com cookie. For the determined... 1) find the cookie, 2) delete it, 3) reboot and reconnect to the network. With luck, you'll get a different IP address when you reboot and should be able to vote. |
