Wow, Todd's wife and friends are just as childish as he is... if the dog pile and the screeching is anything to go by. It was sweet seeing their reactions to seeing their families though.

Yay! Will... .he's such a sweetheart.

I really liked Kim's room and she does look and sound great on TV. Todd? Hated his room and he talks so fast when he's doing his pseudo show that it annoys me. I would hate to stay in Todd's room, all those dark colors makes it look like a cave.

Rob was a jerk but its Robb.. did we expect anything less?

I liked Kim's room. It isn't what I'd do in my own home, but having spent so much time in Hawaii over the years, I can see where it fits right in with an upscale suite in that area. I like that she wasn't so egotistical that she ignored everything the judges suggested.. and bless Will for stepping up and helping her in what she had to change. She looked good as host, very comfortable, and her room beat Todd's by a country mile and a half. Not even a close contest.

Todd's room was typical Todd. No regard for functionality except for anyone but himself. How stupid to put the bed next to the kitchen sink. And his wall decorations looked cheap. He designs for himself, not stopping to think that other people may have actually grown up and have adult tastes. His room might be okay for a teenager on spring break, if the teen doesn't mind rolling out of bed and crashing into the kitchen counter. Yuck, the layout of his room was dumb, dumb, dumb... in other words, Todd, Todd, Todd. And I wonder if this guy is able to speak without using the fingers on his hands? Rock on dewd, just do it somewhere where adults aren't subjected to you.

Todd is so frantic that he is hard to understand. He is doing better trying to create functional rooms and his hosting skills are better, but then the camera switches to Kim. She is so calm and quiet and explains her rooms in a logical manner. She is pleasant and she is understandable. Kim communicates to you. Todd goes on and on about I, I, I. While Kim explains that you can do what she did. I would be very surprised if Todd won this competition, especially with Kim as his competitor.

After seeing Will again I wonder if he could end up as someone's sidekick?

A mellow Robb???? A nice Robb??? Say it isn't so. Maybe he finally got some valium.....mmmmm.

I'm watching the show now. On HGTV's website the pictures are up. Kim's room doesn't WOW me and I like Todd's artwork. I was surprised by my reaction. What was Todd thinking with the bed by the fridge? What a nut.

Kim's room on the website looks like the walls need work - not color - but remodeling. Look towards the top of the second to the last picture and see if you all can understand what I mean. Something in that picture looks unfinished and I'm not sure what it is.

I was just over on HGTV.com. Can someone please explain to me how to vote over there. I tried for 10 minutes and could not find a vote panel. Urls anyone?? I even typed in 'vote design star ' in their website search engine and ended up with a list of links to articles but no voting. UGH!

I wonder if HGTV is doing this on purpose to force people to vote using their cells phones??? and make money for the cell provider???

Roses4me: There's wiring coming off it so I'm thinking its something the show or hotel put there and they tried to cover it up (the show did) with that plastic. I don't think that's anything Kim did because of the wiring coming off it.

Reading and listening to Vern's assessment of the rooms gives me the impression he's rooting for Kim.
