Scott Baio is 45...and Single - Page 21

I just finished watching the episode at 9 today. Very well put together and I cried like a baby! I was so touched to see his interaction with the baby and Renee. I think he's going to be a good dad if he can keep from turning back to his old ways.

FYI-Scott will be on Regis and Kelly on Monday. I'm curious to see how he is since the baby arrived. I could see a change in him right after the birth.

I caught Regis & Kelly and the baby is adorable. Renee looks fantastic for having just given birth four months ago. Scott finally seemed comfortable (as much as he probably can be) as a father. I know his father has passed but is his mother deceased as well? If so, I'm sure that's one of the reasons he's had a hard time with the whole settling down and having a baby issue. If his parents were still here I think he would have settled down a while ago. I hope things work out for him with his new little family.

I just watched him change the diaper and it was funny yet touching. I think he's going to be better than most dads out there. Renee will make sure he's around for Baily and that's half the battle.

Does anyone else get the impression that a lot of this show is fake. I know a lot of reality tv isnt reality, but this show in particular seems contrived.

The scenes with his friends seem staged. Like the shopping for diapers thing with his 3 buddies. Seriously, you could put that on a storyboard and call it "Scott goes shopping with his buddies and hilarity insues". The fact that one of his freinds is also a producer on the show doesnt help. Who is to say he and scott dont stage some of this stuff with the guys? Id be interested to know if he bought that house or is just renting it, likely moving out when the show stops filming

I'm sure the production crew misses things and asks them to go back and do it again. They do that with all reality shows.

I haven't watched this season but I did catch a little bit of the show last night. I thought Renee and that wedding planner were obnoxious to Scott, laughing 'cause he didn't want to register for $400 (!!) goblets. I don't blame him. Besides being uselss, I doubt that either Scott or Renee have friends wealthy enough to spend that kind of money on a wedding gift. If it was George Clooney--yes, I'm guessing his friends the Pitts and the Afflecks don't mind paying thousands of dollars... I thought it was actually very cute and funny when Scott was pushing the stroller and mumbling to his baby, telling her he thought she was cute, but he was fed up with the two of them (Renee and the planner0.

I had an "awwww" moment when he sang "You are the woman that I always dreamed of" to his baby. And I love that he gets choked up every time he talks about her. I'm sure the newness will wear off once she starts talking and saying "no" all the time but for now it's sweet.

If you noticed the production company is "bischoff-hervey". Hervey is of course his friend on the show Jason Hervey, Bischoff is Eric Bischoff, Herveys friend and WCW WWE personality.

Yeah, I would say a bit of it is staged
