This finale was so lame: just a lot of golfing and whining about wedding planning.

A few things struck me, though:
First, renee's example of scott being a stellar guy is that he cut a pizza for her?? "He's so protective, he didn't want me to cut myself," blah, blah. Let's hear it for low standards.

Second, Doc Ali telling renee whatever she wanted to hear, that scott's this great guy with a heart of gold. Excuse me? You witnessed first hand what a narcissistic, womanizing a$$hole he is for eight weeks straight, but okay.

Lastly, there is no way this was the first time renee revealed her pregnancy to scott. I'm convinced he knew before filming even started. I think scott even said on howard stern that the pregnancy was a factor in doing the show, to see if he could settle down and raise this kid with her.

You wrote just about everything I was thinking!!

When he said, "I'm ready to get married," it seemed to me like the real message was, "I'm ready to get married and, oh look, you're here, so it might as well be you." What a lousy proposal. What's even worse is that he knew it was going to be filmed and broadcast and that's the best thing he could come up with to say....?

As with anyone getting married, I hope that they're happy together for the rest of their lives. But, sadly, I don't think they're off to a good start.

I can see him being faithful to her because I think, at 45, maybe his wild and crazy womanizing days really are behind him. Plus, it probably helps that 2 out of his 3 close friends are in committed (presumably happy) relationships. But, it seems like his personality is that of a complainer (about just about everything... people recognizing him, giving autographs, getting engaged, wedding plans, etc.), so he seems like the kind of guy that will never be 100% happy. But, best of luck to them, especially since there will be a child involved.

I too was shocked that Dr. Allie was trumpeting Scot's 'heart of gold'. Huh? After hearing about all the trashy women he has slept with and his robotic moves to 'get' women.

This was the most scripted show ever, and it didn't even make him look good. He is really self-centered and unlikeable. And his realtionship with 'Johnny V' was very, very odd.

You think he could have prepared a ring or something to give to her.....

Ewwww. I gasped, out loud when I read this:

"We just went to get the 4-D imaging this week, and I saw her for the first time," says Baio. "She is a girl and she has my head! I got pissed off about it because I have seen myself in drag for television and I am an ugly woman. Why couldn't she have my wife's head? She's beautiful!"

I think it's just Scott's strange, insecure, sense of humor... or at least that's what I'm hoping. His wife will have to have all the practical knowledge in that household to give this baby a fighting chance!
