If you go to the show's official website there's a video clip there where they were doing some promotional pictorials of Matt and the girls in LA for the upcoming show on CW and Matt's hair was already much longer then. So I'm guessing that pictorial happened AFTER the show has ended... Also, that means Matt and Brooke probably got to spend some time alone together in LA as well since I'm pretty sure everybody knew already who won???

Thank you Matt for confirming that Christa is a special girl. I had read earlier that she and Brooke were friends at the beginning of the show...until emotions became involved, anyway. You are so right in that the eight hours we saw doesn't begin to emcompass the full month that was filmed. And, it was edited to tell a story at that.

If I had a MySpace account, I would post this thank you there...but for now, I wish only the best for you and Brooke.

But I still have a concern about Christa. Of course it was the editing. But look at the language she used and the CONSTANT bashing of Brooke. Even when her best friend came, she pointed her out and said "we don't like her." I can understand once or twice, but not constant. I know Matt's faith is strong, but I can't imagine he felt good watching the show and seeing the constant belittling of the woman he loves. UNLESS he knows TPTB prompted her to say things like that. That would explain asking for condoms on the last episode. I can't imagine any of the girls would do that on her own. Maybe Christa had the idea to do it, if she already sensed how it was going to play out. Or maybe TPTB told her to.

Beachmon, great post! It has dawned on me that Matt is probably being a gentleman by not saying anything negative about any of the girls. I'd be willing to bet he was as shocked as the rest of us by the editing and by what went on when he was not around.

How cool is it, though, to see that two Christians found each other through a reality dating show?!

Me either. She was nasty and not just a few times, but as often as she could.
It does say a lot about Matt and Brooke that they are so gracious toward her.
Christa does have someone that God has prepared for her. God is so BIG!

Or it says a lot about them that they were drawn to her. I read Matt's comments that were posted here saying Brooke & Christa were very much alike -- which makes me have a way lower opinion of Brooke, if that is the case! And a lower opinion of him if that is the kind of person he is attracted to. They all deserve each other, and I'm so glad it's over and we can wash our hands of this show!

He wasn't really specific in those comments about HOW they were alike. I really think that Christa showed a different side of herself to Matt. He strikes me as too much of a gentleman to say anything derogatory about Christa. He & Brooke seem very happy together, which makes me happy. I can't wait to hear future updates about them.

Texas!

Quick update I am in Texas!!! Thank you to all who have sent prayers for our safe travels Lisa and I pulled into our final destination about 4am this morning. Needless to say we have been driving for a long time and are tired. And with my sister's wedding coming soon things are going to be busy here for me. So please be patient with me for a little while. Thank you for the encouraging words throughout everything so far. I have be blessed with the BEST FANS!! Thank you all for watching the show and I promise to keep you updated!
