| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I begin to feel that Brooke is somewhat scared but going to move there and see what will happened, I can feel that she is tad worried. But... she will be fine there! Matt's family and people are lovely! They will feed Brook with many good food, games, dance and so on... She will having fun there with Matt! I am pretty sure that Brooke's bestfriend will find a man there too. (if she's single and like country man..then could be!... Maybe LOL) |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife I do think they can make a "go" of it. It has to be tough after a whole year of not being able to be seen together. But if they're still willing to go for it, and Brooke's planning to move to Missouri... I think they might just be the real deal. That's awesome! |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife That was a good and honest interview about a connection that has endured for a whole year. I really hope they can take to the next level and I have a feeling that it might happen for them. What was that bit about Josie being much more than was shown? HA! Matt's parting gift to her would have been his size 13 boot HA! She did get her parting gift, though from the production company, I'm sure. The whole section about Josie was kind of snarky which I found very interesting. A very good read about the show!

Of course, it may have been TPTB spurring her on, but I don't think there's any love lost between the two of them, and I can't imagine Matt calling her "real" on his one interview. Also, I wonder if they've seen each other much in the past year. Surely the CW made some arrangements once in a while! ![]() | |

| Re: Farmer Wants a Wife That was an expected ending. Brooke already seems like a country girl to me, a really average-looking one. But he's so doofus and average, they'll do great together. As far as I'm concerned, the NYC chick dodged a bullet. She's not so gorgeous, either, especially with that piercing hanging off her lip, but she seems too savvy for Matt, who seemed perpetually boring to me. I would have loved if she'd told him noway, nohow on dead animal heads hanging off my walls! I sure would. Yuck! My sister's husband wanted to display a buck he shot, and she made him put it in the garage. And did he really expect his wife to go chasing stupid crickets? Um, no way buster. You get them yourself. I thought it was funny that the clerk at the fish store wouldn't touch them either! Guess she can't be a "farmer's wife" *snerk*. Silly conceit for a show, really, almost poking fun at country life as living in another century. Like all the young people really square dance and quilt! Gimme a break. We got a glimpse of how they really party in the cowboy bar--shooting pool and line dancing, things done all over the country. And you can't buy condoms anywhere in that town? You're kidding me. That's a public health issue. Quote:
